Good all around bullet,January 23, 2008

"Although 6.5 cal. bullets are fairly available, I find that most are of a more expensive type or more for target/competition. These Hornady's produce very good results while being affordable. I've used them on Deer and Hogs now and they drop like a rock. If I was going to go after larger game, like elk, moose, etc. I'd probably choose the Nosler or A-frame lines, but for most No. American game, I have no regrets using these Hornady's at all. A very well put together bullet. Fine results from my 6.5 X 55 used in a CZ 550 American. By the way, this rifle can safely handle higher velocities/pressures than the old Swiss Military rifles and I put some real juice behind my bullets, so they can handle the added power just fine. Don't come apart on me."
