"First of all, there were only 99 bullets in the sealed bag, clearly marked 100.
Secondly, either some kind of coating or lead clogged up my seating die so badly I had to re-adjust the depth constantly, at least every 7-8 rds.
The messiest lead bullets I have ever handled!"

"Tried the 180 grain .40's. Reasonably priced and were fairly consistent for plinking ammo. They are not as accurate as Hornady XTP's but were good enough on paper that I ordered some 44 Mags to try. And I am pretty picky about my groups when shooting."

"In a day in age when buying bullets means more money out of pocket then ever before, it is important to purchase not only a better bullet... but also a better value. I've tried them all and Magtech is the most consistent of all bullet manufacturers with regard to weight, dimensions, accuracy and cost. I've been loading and shooting Magtech bullets for as long as I can remember with great results in their pistol caliber bullets. The bottom line is... they are real jacketed bullets. Unlike many other brands out there which are plated, these bullets can be loaded to higher pressures and do not deform when striking either the feed ramp or falling to the floor. All in all, these bullets are the best kept secret for any pistol reloader."

"An excellent economical bullet for the 45Colt. You should note that these bullets are, in fact, .454 diameter and partcularly suited for Pre-WWII barrels, but are also soft enough for post-war .452 barrels. They are not for velocities over 1100 fps, but provide excellent accuracy for my Colt New Service and Ruger Blackhawk at 8-900fps. As expected, shallow-groove 45ACP barrels (e.g. Model 1917 Colt and S&W) give poor accuracy - these require jacketed or really hard cast bullets.
I like the larger meplat (flat point) than Remington or Winchester factory bullets."
