Luhr Jensen Lighted Kwikfish®

A lighted lure that outperforms other lures in low visibility. As soon as it hits the water a strobe light will automatically turn on. Reel it back in out of the water, dry it off and it will turn off. Built-in long-life battery never needs to be changed. Battery lasts 400 hrs., which equates to fishing 12 hours a day for 33 days. The new K16 Xtreme Kwikfish body design allows it to dive deeper and troll faster than previous models. Fixed hook hangers and eyelets for easy tuning. "One lure did not work out of the box. The others worked ok but did not light up as bright as the old vortex lures or as bright as Brad's wigglers. A little too big to get steelhead hooked on the nighttime bite. Yet to try on Salmon species but hoping it will work a little better on the coho and Kings. Brads wigglers over last 2 weeks netted me over 20 steelhead. Luhr Jensen 4 bites with only one hookup which was lost at boat."

"These lures are absolutely amazing! Water activated lights ensure the Big Lakers devour the hooks! The deep diving feature is a MUST as with Lake Trout, if you do not get your hook down deep enough, you are just washing your hook! These lures are truly amazing especially when used with a lead core line. The BEST that I have ever used for Lake Trout. A definite quality product from Cabela's with FAST shipping."

"The Lighted Kwikfish is awesome in the water. The movement is very realistic, and with the addition of the lights, it will attract the fish that you are trolling for. This lure is deadly."

Too little, November 20, 2006

"Lure provides little lumination that I can see. Used this lure night fishing for salmon in Lake Michigan, could not see the light pulse at more then 6 inches under water. For the life of me, I could see my Cleo glow spoons sooner coming back to the surface, then I could see this lure. It did not meet my expectations for this product. Bought with the expectation of it providing a constantly lighted lure, in place of not having to continuesly reflash my glow spoons. It did not catch any fish."
