"My first run was a bit stiff and the spool holder squeaked quite a bit, it also seemed to wear on the tension nuts leaving a groove in them rather quickly. I used some gun grease on the parts that rub and this seems to have helped. It would also be helpful to mount the holder on a solid surface for stability but I used it fine as a portable holder to spool five reels for a tuna trip. over all it is a good product specially if you want to spool your gear quickly without the flexing side to side of the smaller plastic systems."

"Very Sturdy Product. Handles 1 pound spools with ease !! Tension knobs are extremely "touchy" meaning that very little adjustment needs to be used when finding the correct tension for spooling reels."
