Excellent Jigs,February 20, 2009
By BLCBearfrom Brighton, Colorado
"The only jig I am aware of that can be fished vertically with a perfect horizontal presentation or used as a stand-up jig. The sloped nose design of the jig helps keep me out of the normal snags with traditional jigs when I am in the rocks or drifting jigs. The addition of the flasher promotes unbelievable vibration and flash which fish can’t refuse. Perfect jig and excellent results."

Excellent Jig,February 16, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Nebraska
"The Walleye Flasher is one of my "go to" baits when fishing for walleye in particular. The blade gives it that extra bit of flash and vibration and the head design really cuts the current in river situations. It's clearly the best jig for trophies when fishing the Red and Winnipeg Rivers in Manitoba. Some overlooked uses are for slip bobber fishing and dragging minnow's and chubs early and late in the open water season. Ice fisherman should also get some of the "glow red" in their arsenal - especially on Lake Winnipeg, Waubay, Lake of the Woods, Upper Red, the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers.
Another nice touch is it's an all USA product. Kind of refreshing."

Very nice!,July 24, 2007

"One of the best little jigs I have used. Works great with many deferent trailers and you can do what ever you want when working it. Bump it, drag it, swim it, twitch it, drop it, flip it, jerk it, and troll it. It all works. I use it in both saltwater and fresh water and the fish love this thing. Silver and gold are great and white and fire tiger rock too."

LONG-SHANK WALLEYE FLASHER--Saves the Day,December 11, 2006
By Anonymousfrom Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA
"I produce and host my own fishing show. When the film is rolling and no fish are coming it can get very tense! On one shoot last spring, the brains-surgery bite had us fishless well after lunch and my 1/16 oz short-shank ball-head jig and leech had let me down! I had yet to give my REELBAIT Walleye Flashers a serious try and instructed my camera man to tie one on for me. He is a plastics man and put a 3 inch white grub on the 1/4 oz gold head. While I moved the boat around the structure, he took a cast and immediately stuck our first walleye of the day, a beauty too! After that, we dropped the bait and ball-head, tossed the Flasher and plastic and completed out segment...THANKS TO THE WALLEYE FLASHER JIG! RELIEF!! The long-shank Walleye Flasher is now my favorite for openwater AND icefishing when a larger bait (either plastic or live) is needed. Works great under a tip-up too for a lot of different species of fish!"

Walleye Flashers--Imitated, Never Duplicated,December 8, 2006
By MOMknowsfishingfrom Cupar, Saskatchewan CANADA
"I am a hard working guide. My success is directly related to my pay. REELBAIT Walleye Flashers have been a God-send. I've used them all and other "jigs with blades" can not compare to REELBAIT's jig. There are 3 things that set them apart: First, the eyelet has been moved from the original Erie-style jig mold so that the jig rests perfectly horizontal (neutrally balanced). This allows me to fish the jig on a tiny snap when fishing with clients unfamiliar with jigs since there is never any need to "adjust the knot" after a strike; the jig balances itself (ie. MORE FISH). Second, the stand-up design of the Flasher jig rests on bottom with the hook up and the leech in the fish's face. Walleye and other gamefish slurp the jig up and get the hook in their mouth every time. Finally, the Flasher jig sports a Willow-leaf blade that works better than an Indiana blade because it's thin profile is hampered less often by the leech or crawler. It's also a superb choice for aggressive rip-jigging as it rips vertically like a bladebait and shimmys back like a spoon."

"I use a fair assortment of jigs for walleye - have had good success with these Walleye Flashers. Great item for vertical jigging."
