Great value,October 4, 2009

"I’ve used this unit almost every weekend since I got it four months ago. With the addition of a Navionics chip, this is a fantastic unit for the price. The GPS has performed as it’s supposed to and the sonar image is sharp and clear. I’ve had no problem with it so far."

"Recently picked up a new boat for fishing the flats and doing some bowfishing out of, and it did not have any electronics on it. I purchased this unit and got the upgrade card to go with it. Once I had the screens customized to what I wanted, I have no complaints. It is functional and easy to use. I haven't pushed the limits of the sonar, but the navigation with the upgrade card is well worth it - especially when running the bay early/late/ or in the fog. Overall, I'm pleased with the unit and what I got for the price."

reliable for the price,July 21, 2008

"We wanted an average fish finder/GPS that was reliable, easy to use and install. Color was not important to us, but some quality in the picture was. This unit was a very good purchase for the money. We would recommend this unit to anyone looking for the average American fish finder on a small reliable fishing boat."

More than expected!,March 4, 2008

"The only drawback is the background map is not detailed enough but with a mapping card it is great. The sonar is excellent. The price makes this a very good choice.Along with a gps adapter plate sold by Cabela's is a great accessory, with no reception problems from antenna and no holes to drill for antenna. The Fishelite 480 is a great chioce with many high dollar feartures."

Outstanding Value,November 9, 2007
By WalleyeinEriefrom PA
"Don't hesitate if you're considering this product. I have used mine for over 2 years with great success. Screen is easy to see, and the GPS is fantastic. You absolutely cannot beat this unit for the money. I also have a Lowrance LCX unit on my boat and this unit hangs right with it, just not in color. Also purchased one of these for my father. His transducer went bad after the first year, one call to Lowrance and they sent a new one at no charge, fantastic friendly service. This unit will do everything of one four times the price, buy it you'll be glad you did."
