"my friends and i use these with great sucess for peacock bass in the amazon and also around miami. they are sturdy and the peacock bass love them. the really big fish also take them but the bait is usually to small to hold them on. great on fish up to five lbs. change the hooks for the peacocks to a stonger hook when needed. just returned today from brazil where we a group of eight caught over 2100 peacock bass in 6 and 1/2 days of fishing."

"This is a very good multi-purpose lure. I have caught many differant species on it. It is an absolutely perfect search bait for fan casting because it makes a fair commotion on the surface. I used the Baby Torpedo in baby bass color and caught many nice sized largemouth on it. Unexpectedly, it turned out to be a terrifec bait for harbor bluefish. The reason I gave this a 4/5 is that the prop will freeze up over time because of rust, and as it runs through vegetation. Know that you will need to maintain the prop on the bait over time."

"i have used this in ponds and rivers and it seems to be more effective in ponds. i get bluegills to nip at it but the hook is to big to hook them and i get all sizes of bass to bite it. at rivers i have even got carp and catfish to bite it. i use the black shore minnow color in the tiny size. i will just reel it in steadily or fish it like a popper with a series of twitches. i love the sound when a bass inhales this of the surface. i love this. it is the best topwater lure i have ever fished."

"Annually I do not do a whole lot of fishing. I go on a trip tow quebec, canada 1 time a year, and this lure does everything. I have caught 5 pound small mouth bass on the lure. I have also caught small walleye and about 30 inch northern pike on the lure pretty regularly. The lure has worked so well that i have bought a stock of them in the shad color and the other 12 guys that go on the trip annually have each bought atleast one and had the same success. I love this lure and easily catch 30 quality fish in our week trip and that does not count the small throw back fish that no one wants to mention. I have also used the same lure locally in delaware and maryland and caught 5 pound largemouth and some crappie and stuff regularly as well. I call it the international lure! A slow retrieve with a jerk action give it the wounded bait fish look. When you can find a calm cove somewhere i dont use any other lure!"

"This is a awesome bait. Just cast it and reel it in and fish bite it. I like the smaller size to catch more variety and I prefer the lake shore black minnow pattern. I've caught largemouth on this bait especially dureing mid day it works the best for me. I've even caught a 10 inch bluegill on the lure."
