"come with decent foot dressing, minimal work needed. Like the other reviewer, I also like looking at the 2 rods just because they're so nice, especially in the bright sun. They're not the lightest on the market i've used but they're not the heaviest either. I've received numerous comments from total strangers about those rods. I used them on a flat black blanks for high contrast. I received one guide (out of 18) with a cracked ring which was very hard to see...as with any rod part, check yours carefully before installing."

"They are beautiful to look at and easy to install since the feet are tapered. Sometimes, when the fishing is slow, I just look at the guides and admire them. Highly recommend them even at the somewhat high price."
