fish eat fish,October 7, 2009
By MrJoshuafrom Eastern Mass rivers and lakes
"Pike, small mouth, perch, suns, etc. fish like to eat fish. It looks like a fish and swims like a fish fish bite it go figure. I have watched guys throw expensive stuff in the water for 45 minutes in a spot I just caught good sized pike and small mouth in and come up dry. I can go back to the same spot and catch more fish with this puppy. Dont buy one buy five. Bigger sizes catch bigger fish. All the stuff in my box together hasn't caught half as many fish."

Rapal,August 10, 2009
By Laeeqfrom New York, NY
"I think no other crankbaits in the market can compete these lures. Go to any lake or river, throw them and reterive them, you will catch fish no matter how small or big is. I have catched the fish which was size of the lure I was using. They are simply the best. just take off the ring, put a Rapala knot and just see the action. I stoped buying other brand of lures. Its just waste of money."

guaranteed fun,July 21, 2009
By CityCaveManfrom south-east Michigan
"i have never had such a secret weapon in my life! i picked up a rapala original and countdown, both the smallest size in silver with black. my intent was to use it to get some small panfish that love to steal worms and never get hooked.
well it works! and not just for the small fishies! i was trying a new fishing spot and as soon as the sun set the fish were surface feeding on fishflies. so i switched from a nightcrawler harness to my countdown and caught at least a half-dozen fish in the 15 minutes after i switched to my rapala.
there arent too many impressive game fish that i have seen caught from riverbanks in south-east michigan, but the bass i caught with that tiny countdown was as big as i have ever seen around here. other than the bass i caught several other small fish including my first pumpkinseed. i was catching so many fish i was getting tired of unhooking them in the dark so i went home.
i recommend this lure to anyone and everyone. i wish i had been fishing it years ago. now i will start practicing my finesse with this rapala and move up to a larger lure."

Best hardbait ever made!!!,June 21, 2009
By basserman2
"This lure just really ticks off bass whenever this lure comes around. the paint takes a sander to make a dent, I would suggest this lure in the shiner color and 4 3/8" for bass. when live bait doesnt work then the Original Rapala is my first choice. When I'm fishing for stripers off my kayak I would use the Super Shad Rap or this lure in 7" , the stripers and bluefish murder this lure, best lure ever!!"

By Steve826from Frederick, MD
"No. 5 Floating Rapala in Silver, great for big panfish and bass in ponds. Larger sizes will also work well for big bass in lakes, reservoirs, and large rivers. One of the original fishing lures still works like a charm today."
