"Product is 2/3 the cost of a comparable product (Whiting 100 pack) and of equal or better quality, PLUS, it is more available - both items were back ordered, and this product came in at it's projected date, while the other product's deliveray date was twice delayed, and in the end never did come in. Color was a big issue, and the actual color of the product identically matched the color in the catalog, while the color in the catalog of the comparable product did not."

"Awsome product especially for new fly-tyers as it takes the guess work of selecting the proper size hackle for the job at hand, and you get several flies out of each hackle, easy to work with because the stem is soft it makes wrapping a pleasure, very little waste plus I don't end up with dozens of capes lying around taking up space."

"I have been tying flies for over thirty years. I used to buy necks to obtain dry fly hackles. A neck provides a range of sizs from about size 22 to size 6. Since I tie mostly sizes 12, 14, and 16, I do not use most of a neck. I can order a micro pack in one size. I often use a size 14 to tie both size 12 and size 16 dry flies. Each feather is about 12" long. This makes it easy to hold when wrapping a hackle. Hackle pliers are required with these long feathers."

"The micro-packs from Metz have taken the guess work out of getting the correct hackle size. Size 16 Sulfurs come out beautiful and uniform. The length of each individual hackle allows you to tie about six flies from each individual piece and the quality of the individual feather is excellent. They wrap with ease and hold that fly up in ripply water. Most people would say a feather is a feather but belive me these micro-packs make tying dries alot easier."
