The waterproof Oceanus DSC covers all U.S. international and Canadian marine channels, and the DSC (Digital Selective Calling) function gives you easy one-button emergency calling capability to the U.S. Coast Guard. The ultra-compact construction saves valuable space and is designed to withstand the harshest marine conditions. The radio also sports a powerful 25 watts of output, along with a Quick Command™ one-touch channel 16/9 on the microphone and a programmed memory key on mic. It also has a Triple Watch Plus™ channel monitor so you can monitor emergency channel 16 and 9, along with memory scan, weather scan and weather alert. And these radios have high/low power select, an LCD display and dimmer. The backlit keypad offers you added visibility for dialing at night or in low light. One switch allows you to select the public address function or regular marine radio options, and the external speaker jack lets you add an optional external speaker. Three-year water protection warranty. With the Wireless Handheld Access Microphone, you can utilize your Oceanus DSC VHF anywhere in the boat. A 36" VHF antenna also is available.
