"This bag is a neat package that allows you to easily organize your plugs. The plastic tubes appear to be pretty tough material & have enough length to allow hanging your lures by their tail hooks & still hang straight. An additional portion of the bag, not mentioned in the catalog, is a series of five canvas tubes sewn into the center of the rear wall of the bag which are ideal for holding jigs & heavy weight saltwater casting spoons readily accessable for use."

"I needed a bag to carry all my large surf jigs, poppers and swimmers but did not want a back pack (I have a great one) which is difficult to get to when your in a hurry. I have looked at several bags but they all seemed expensive and I didn't want to waste the money if they were not handy. I purchased the medium size BW, loaded it up and put it on my wader belt (it also has a sholder strap). I could move the bag around to the back when fishing and move it to the side where it was easy to get at anything in the bag. This is one handy, well made bag that's worth twice the price."

"Bag is lightweight, water resistant, and the tubes can hold 2 or 3 of the smaller plugs and 4 tins. Worth it's price and then some. Let's see how it holds up after 5 years. I think it will."

"this is a good bag, the only improvement i could suggest is a buckle closure for the top, the velcro is weak and i think the top might open too easily if hit by some heavy surf.
the tubes inside are more than large enough for multiple lures each and there is still belt loops on it that will fit a good dive belt which is essencial."

Great Musky Lure Bag,July 8, 2007

"I just started getting into Musky fishing last fall and have been using a Plano 3731 box to store my small but growing arsenal of Musky lures. I'm not ready to purchase the large Musky boxes available that store 50+ lures and cost $60 - $120. The BW Sports Surf Bag is a great alternative.
I ordered the large for the added length and couldn't be happier. I can fit 4 Mepp's Musky killer bucktails in one cylinder. A Bucher Shallow Raider and Depth Raider fit nicely in one cylinder. Plent of extra room for pliers, wire/bolt cutters, line, and other odds and ends.
The only thing I would like to see would be an actual handle on the top for when you want to remove the shoulder strap."

"I like this bag because of its light weight and reasonable price. I did 2 modifications on it to make it really functional - 1) I glued 2 additional velcro strips on the top (1 on each side) which makes it totally spill-proof, and 2) I shortened the lure tubes ~1-1/2" to allow for some additional room to carry odds & ends. The bag is heavyweight nylon w/drain holes on the bottom and has held up well.
For me, the little work needed for the mod's made the bag versatile and for the price - a bargain."

"Not only is the BW Sports Surf Bag great for salt water fishing, I found in makes a great boat bag for large muskie baits. The large, plastic tubes will hold about 15 large muskie lures. It allows me to select the day's plugs and soft baits and drop them into the tubes and throw a few large muskie spinners in the front pocket and not have to take a large tackle box with me. It is also a great bag for a small selection of muskie and pike lures to take on fly-out trips where there are equipment size and weight restrictions for the float plane. I'm very pleased with the bag. This product should be included in the general fishing catalog and not just in the salt water catalog. I've been looking for something like this for a while and could not find it anywhere else."
