Niteblast NO Motion Spotlight,May 3, 2009
By GulfCoastFisherfrom Deep South
"This ligth seems to be good case of you get what you pay for. It worked the first time. Light is bright, range of motion was good but herky jerky in rotation. After the second use it became a NO vertical motion light. At this point in time it is a No Motion Light....I advise you to Not Buy this light."

Not a good idea,December 5, 2008
By Boondocker99from Salt Lake City, Utah
"I bought this light for my duck boat, mounted it with the mounting kit, that was a pain to get by the way. The light worked great the first time out. The second time out I had a hard time getting the light to come on. The motor that turns the light in different positions stop working on the third time out. The light is a manual turn light now. I wouldn't recommend this light, for the price you would expect this to be a good product. Save your money"

Nighy Blaster spot light,December 2, 2008
By AcelaBillfrom Northern Virginia
"Light works well for the conditions that I use it in, mostly marshy area. Beam is bright and does a great job. Took a little used to getting used to the remote but no real problem, a tad shaky when rotating. Suction cup must be placed on a very flat surface to work properly so I built a plate that is removable. Very happy with the product has held up well in rainy, muddy conditions."

Nightblaster Motion Pro Spotlight,October 28, 2008
By MrToefrom Milford,CT
"This motion pro light was not what I expected. The light was made out of plastic, which was not too robust. The movement was extremely "jerky" and not precise at all. I had expected a significantly more sturdy unit. I was not impressed."

Probably worth the money,June 12, 2008
By Encorefrom Hubbard Lake, MI
"I would say that the Nightblaster is worth the money spent however, it would not work for my application. I did not have the necessary room to mount the light without it shinning directly into the bow mount motor. Had I been able to relocate the bow mount, I would probably have kept it. One thing that I completely disliked about the Nightblaster, was that when it was rotated to the down position, the unit automatically turned off. If the unit did not automatically turn off, I would have rated it higher."

Nightblaster,December 30, 2007
By MuskieHunterfrom Maine
"I bought one of these and it worked great until I mounted it on my boat. Two issues with it, though: 1) It will not stay put with the suction only, unless mounting surface if VERY smooth. I used 4 strips of industrial strength Velcro, and that did the trick. 2) The remote control (light movement feature) worked great the first few times I tested it, until it was on the boat for the first time (only 1 month old). It simply refused to work. I checked power connection and wiring, but I think one of the relays must have been bad. The light went on and off but would not move. I returned it and it was promptly replaced at no charge to me. It is still in the box in my garage till spring, and I am hoping this one will be a little more durable. Based on my experience and the other reviews with similar bad experiences, I would not recomend this product. Muskiehunter"

nightblaster,October 15, 2007
By duckblasterfrom Northern MN
"The suction cup mount requires a pretty smooth surface to attach properly. I ended up screwing the rubber suction cup down to the bow cap, the flip lever will remove so the cup can be attached. the light works well, rotates and up-down. Makes finding your spot and setting up nice in the dark."

good product with a small repair,October 1, 2007
By bassfisher99from tennessee
"I bought a nightblaster light to go on my bass boat. i hit a object one night and decided i needed one. i reveved the light and was in aw about it. It was awesome! of course that was in the yard not the water. i put it on the boat for a test run one night. if the suction is damp it would not work good. but the light when you was on the water and running the spot light. the light would shine back through the other side of the light in my eyes. reduceing night vision. i went home pulled the light appart and placed a black piece of gasket material behind the flood light to fix that problem. now it works great no light toward you. where you don't need it"

Nightblaster MOtion Pro Spotlight,September 17, 2007
By Davidjobfrom Narragansett, RI
"Nice light, nice features with remote. Very strong and it has some weight to it, feels solid. Unfortunately, it needs to go on the bow, and most bows have a textured, non slip finish and the suction doesn't work on it. Also, it is a little low, so it reflects onto the white giving a glare that is hard to deal with. It would have been nice if it were higher off the ground, thus reducing glare and it could be aimed onto the water ahead of the bow. It would have worked nicely on my boat except it had to be moved back from the nose of the boat because the suction won't work on the grid surface. I had to return it."

poor design,July 29, 2007
By bill4332
"The light works but does not stay in place long. After being in the weather, the ball that the light is mounted in starts to expand and stick in the mounting bracket. Only used mine a few times over a couple years and now does not pivot in any direction. For the price it is ok."

Motion Spotlight that works,April 23, 2007
By Bartonfrom Illinois
"I mounted mine to my Jeep Wrangler for deer watching on back country roads. One review I read said the suction cup does not work well , I made it very wet and then stuck it on. works great, it has been 150 miles of street driving and its still there. I did secure the cord just incase it gives out. In the box is a note on how to order a permanent mount I saved it just in case I want to mount it that way. I called and it cost about $10.00, maybe when I receive the $10.00 rebate I will order it."
