"We bought the taping machine and these bags came w/ it. Taper worked EXCELLANT! Every other bag had a small hole in the seam @ the bottom! Thought it was operator error but looking @ them closely they had a hole before we even started to stuff them! Extremely dissapointed, took the extra ones we bought back! Don't bother w/ the bags! I'll try the Cabela's brand bags next time!!"

"the one pound bags are garbage, they leak at the seams and are paper thin. unless they go back to the old style bags i'm done buying this junk.
when will manufacturers and retailers realize that we will pay for quality... especially in this situation, it's meat storage after all!!!"

Too long and too skinny,

"I have ordered and used these bags many times. I have always ordered the one pound bag. They have switched over to a different brand (not the ones pictured which made me pretty mad). The new brand is extremely skinny and two times as long as the old brand. It makes it much more difficult to stuff the meat in by hand like I used to do. The only way to stuff it was to run the meat back through the grinder. This takes a lot longer than doing it by hand with the old bags. I would NEVER buy this brand of bag again. I am pretty sure this is only for the one pounders though."

"The bags are about 1.5 inches in diameter and 14 inches long. Previously they were about 3X9 and very easy to pack and store in the freezer. These bags are very difficult to fill and very inconvinient to store.
DO NOT BUY!"

"After purchasing these bags is when I found out that the 1 pound bags are totally useless. Why anyone would make a bag about a 1-1/4 in x 12in long makes them impractical.
Also, the thickness of all the bags seemed very thin and they will break at the sealed end very easily. These do not compare to those from a meat packaging place."

"The idea is great and it works well next time I order I will get the next size up (the bags run small) and not fill them so full so they can be double bagged as they are very thin and get little tears in them just from being moved arround in the freezer."

"Use these bags with the tape seal kit and it is a great system. We vac pac 4 one pound bags together in the same package and you don't have to worry about freezer burn simply reuse the vac pac bag again next fall to package your next round of one pound bags. I also put on the large stuffer attachment on the grinder and pack the meat directly into the one pound bags right out of the grinder. Love it and will use this system for a long time."

"We got 200 2lb. bags in preparation for butchering 2 cows. These blue and white bags ripped at the seams near the bottom of the bags. We have used these bags from Cabelas in the past but they were black and white. Those bags were of much better quality and we didn't have any trouble with them. Stay away from the blue and white thin 2 lb bags they are worthless."

"they are very convienent and easy to use, the only thing that would make them nicer would be shorter, fatter 2lb chubs the long skinny 2lb. chubs are hard to fit into a pan when they are frozen."

"I feel the opening should be larger to allow more flexiblity with filling the bags with meat. Also, there were no ties with the bags, so at a very crucial time in our grinding process, I discovered this and was forced to immediately begin searching for ties. Fortunately I found some so no big deal, however, I think they should be included with the product. Long skinny tubes and somewhat awkward to handle. I would not recommend."
