its like cheating...,June 6, 2009
By GimmeBeerfrom Roseville, MN
"I never fish with livebait because I hate the set it and forget it part, even tho they catch fish, real worms get torn up too easliy by little sunnies...These are by far the best, along with senkos...I texas rig it weightless and bury the hook and they catch big time...I like the natural color...its not durable, but name any plastic worm that catches fishes that is...sometimes it would hold up even after a few largemouth...I gotta buy more though, jus a few packs just in case...haha"

"I dont think that this bait works 100% but it will work. I have tried to use it in rivers and it has not worked as well but in a large lake I have caught 1-2 pound bass by jiging it off the bottom."

Excellent Lure!,January 4, 2009
By NJanglerfrom Paramus, NJ
"I've used this lure in the natural nightcrawler color and the black color and have caught a ton of fish on it. It's one of my go-to soft plastics. It has amazing action if you texas rig it with a light 1/16 oz. weight. I've caught largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, pickerel, cats, carp, and every panfish on this lure. The only downside is that it does tear kin of easily. I reposition the hook and reuse them though, because the fish will hit them no matter what. Along with zoom u-tales and senkos, this is one of the best worms on the market."

Great for catfish,October 25, 2008
By 10286from Pennsylvania
"This bait didn't really do me any good on bass or any other fish except catfish. It worked great each time i would have to wait 5-10 minutes but the catfish were attacking it like there was no tomorrow"

gulp 6'' crawler,June 16, 2008
By gooseblaster49707from northern lower michigan
"well, unless i'm doing something wrong, and maybe i am by the other reviews, these do not outfish live bait. i've tried them on harnesses, single hooks, jig/slip bobbers and even the new ''slow death'' hooks. the package doesn't reseal well and they stink in the tackle box. i've got mine in an empty plastic mayo jar now and will let the kids use them up on rockbass and bluegills this summer."

Awsome bait!!!!!,April 9, 2008
By largemouthfreakfrom Arlington, TX
"I was fishing a large Texas pond that is really overfished and wasn't catching anything, so I switched to this nightcrawler with the natural worm color on a drop shot rig. I threw it out and boom a nice 3 pounder. Then i threw it again and boom a nice 1 pounder in the same spot. I ended up catching 3 fish that day and lost 3 worms. these are good baits but wont stay on the hook!!!!"

Gulp 6" Nightcrawler,October 2, 2007
By TobyKfrom North Judson, IN
"This is by far the best artificial worm I have ever used. The first time I tried it I tied into a two pound smallie and then a 17" walleye. Between this and Gulp's bottled nightcrawlers, I don't even need any other lures. Works great for bass, blue gill, crappie, walleye and catfish. I've caught all with these baits. Keep them coming."

Berkley gulp 6" nightcrawler,June 19, 2007
By Walleyehunteronefrom Live in Pennsylvania but fish Bay of Quinte
"This product works well on walleye in Bay of Quinte. When the bite is fair to good I catch as many as with real crawlers. During a poor bite time it seems real crawlers are somewhat better."

Great Buy,June 10, 2007
By 4141from Northern Illinois
"This bait caught a good amount of walleyes, bass and even crappies, but it did not "outfish" the live bait as advertised. Live crawlers brought in more fish, but "gulp" is definetely the best alternative to using live bait."

Gulp 6" Nightcrawler,March 15, 2007
By Befoe58from Gibraltar, Michigan
"Used the Gulp Natural and Black 6" Nightcrawlers for Walleye on the Western basin of Lake Erie last 2 years. Trolling them off boards and off downriggers with crawlerharnesses. They really do outfish live bait (3-1 ratio to live crawlers on my boat last 2 years). Also found if you just let the water drip off you can indeed put them back in the package to reuse. I am averaging 3-4 trips with the same Gulps. Just a slight warning: do not leave them to dry out on your hook. The package states this. Excellent product and have been recommending to everyone."
