Sporting a lifelike ribbon tail and the natural scent, taste and appearance of live bait, the new Gulp! Turtle
Back Worm is a bass angler's dream. Berkley's Gulp! Turtle Back Worm has a back that mimics a turtle's
ridged back and a long curly tail, and it can be rigged in a variety of ways: Carolina, Texas, weedless or
dropshot, depending on the situation. Part of the new line of Gulp! baits, the creation of the Turtle Back
Worm is the result of over two decades of research by scientists at Berkley and field-testing by the top
anglers in the world. Similar in texture, appearance and scent to real bait, Gulp! baits also possess the
color advantages, shape and action of soft plastics. Gulp! baits use water-soluble, natural ingredients that
release over 400 times the amount of fish-attracting scent of standard plastic baits. The scent trail is so
intense that fish cannot resist it. Because Gulp! baits are made of natural materials, it takes nearly 36
hours of processing before they are packaged and ready for your tackle box. Per 6. Sizes: 4", 7". Colors: (003)Black, (009)Pumpkinseed, (012)Watermelon,
(013)Black Red Fleck, (016)Junebug, (020)Blue Fleck, (021)Black Grape
Green Fleck.

Gulp worms are cool,August 18, 2009
By PAfishinfrom PA
"Very happy with this product. I don't use soft plastics very often, but I thought I'd try these out. I was fishing off a dock at Conneaut Lake in PA. I carolina rigged one, and caught a largemouth on the first cast. Seriously! It was a little one, but still pretty impressive. Then, on the fourth cast I caught a 22 inch Northern Pike! A pike on a worm! Awesome."

Good Bait,December 21, 2008
By tallmoonfrom Danbury, WI
"I purchased one package in green. I fished them on and off for half of the summer. I fish 3 days a week in season. Good bait ! However I do not see this feeding frenzie other fishermen talk about. I am only giving it 3 stars because of the price and I feel it really is not head and shoulders above any other soft plastic bait. I will say that my experiance with this bait is it holds up better than I have been told it would. I expected it to tear and fall apart after 4 or 5 fish. Not the case it is a good product. I still have four good solid worms left for next season. Would I purchase this product again? Yes, I would try 3 or 4 differant Gulp baits to experament with. I would love to experiance the same feeding frenzie I have experiance with Berkely Power Bait. Hopefully next season I can give it a 5 star rating."

Best Worm Available.,October 4, 2008
By InshoreSlammerfrom Spring Hill, FL
"The first time I used this worm...I used it to pull a 5lb. Largemouth right out of the spawning bed...She was under a tree and she wouldnt react to just reeling the worm a few feet away...So I crawled into the tree a little bit, and literally dangled the worm right over the bed...I gave it a little twitch and gulped it right down...amazing."

These babies work,August 4, 2008
By EagleBobfrom Toms River, NJ
"There has been days when I can't get a hit with everything in the arsenal (spinners, top water, jerk baits, live crawlers, etc) and then I went to the Berkley Turtle Back Worm. Bam - Bam. The large mouths sucked them up. I don't know what Berkley put in them but it works. I have also found they hit more on the 7" then the 4" one. Suggestions: 1. Don't let them dry out or they will become a HARD bait that doesn't wiggle. Keep them in their same package with the fluid. 2. If you have the same success, order extras the next time as the bass beat the h _ _ _ out of them. I just ordered 4 more packs. Good Luck."

"When I can't get the fish to bite, this is my go-to plastic. The 7" Turtle Back has paid for itself in the number of fish I have been able to hook."

Berkley Gulp Turtle Back Worm,November 21, 2006
By FrugalAnglerfrom Mid-West/Ozarks
"I use the turtle back on either a jig head or a roadrunner, both of which I fish S....L....O....W with good results. This is not an action bait with some scent or flavor, but a scent bait with some action instead. For those times where the fish are shy, this will appeal to a different sense than an action bait, fish are always smelling things and this gives them something differnet. Try them, but slow, to allow the scent to disperse."
