"I purchased a pair of the 10x26 Legends, good clarity, lightweight, and with rain guard. Bino's were similar in all areas with Nikon but a bit more expensive as well as Leupold but less expensive. Since Bushnell was offering a rebate I opted for the Bushnell. I sure made a mistake, Bushnell is not honoring the rebate and from what I've read in other reviews, I'm not sure they honor their warrenties very well."

Bushnell Legend Binocs, December 31, 2008
    By jsallen from Seattle, Wa.

"Absolutely great binoculars. I use a different pair of more expensive 10x50's for astronomy and the Legend 10x42's are as clear edge to edge and almost as bright as my 10x50's.
I compared them with Leupold and Nikon and Minolta before buying and the price difference for the same or better optical performance sold me. I have the newer lighter weight version and have carried them bow hunting all day in New York with the padded neck strap with no discomfort. I purchased them after not being able to discern racks at a great distance with my 10x24 Minolta's in low light during gun season. I would definitely recommend them. Diopter adjustment is stiff but solid feeling not loose. Eye cups screw out don't PULL them out, and they work great. Hard to find a better priced fully multi-coated roof prism pair of glasses and with Rainguard.

"Got these included with the euro binocs...these will be great for backup ones and will be great for my kids to use when they come hunting. They are nice, small and light and will be easy to carry around. Obviously not as bright as others but they are still nice to have. Only complaint is that the pop out eye pieces feel like they are going to come off when I pull them out so I would say they feel cheap...we'll see how long they last."

    BUSHNELL 10X50 LEGEND, November 21, 2007
    By LTATT from MISSISSIPPI

"THE EYE CUPS BROKE, I SENT THEM BACK TO BUSHNELL, 3 WEEKS LATER I CALLED TO CHECK ON THEM, AND THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE $100.00 TO FIX THEM. THAT'S SOME WARRENTY. THEY SAID THAT I ABUSED THEM SO IT WAS NOT COVERD. IF HUNTING WITH THEM IS ABUSE, THEN I DON'T WANT THIS TRASH. THEY ALSO WERE VERY RUDE TO ME ON THE PHONE. IF I HAD DROPED THEM I COULD SEE PAYING FOR THE REPAIR OR BUY ANOTHER PAIR. SO INSTED I BOUGHT TO BEST BINOCULARS, A PAIR OF LEUPOLD I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY BUSHNELL AGAIN"

    Legend 10x42, October 29, 2007
    By 223varmint from Utah

"I have had the 10x42 binos for a few years and love them. I use them a lot through out the year with my job and also hunting trips. They work very well in low light conditions, are water proof, clear and have taken a fair amount of abuse. I have compared them head to head with several pairs of more expensive binos that my friends own under different conditions and no one can tell me that there is $700-$1000 difference in these optics. I would buy another pair without question."

bushnell legend binoculars, September 18, 2007
    By snecil from hannibal mo

    "super clear view.

i had a senior moment and left them on the rear bumper of my truck in the carrying case, they had to have fallen off when i was doing about 30mph down a gravel road.
found them about 2 hours later none the worse for wear, the case was just dusty.
they were just as good as when i got them new out of the box.
    no damage at all.

Great glass, good price, May 28, 2007
    By Dubyam from Huntsville, AL

"I bought a pair of these after many years of wanting some good binoculars. I had looked through an instructors B&L's way back in college, and loved them. These did not disappoint me. The glasses are clear, bright, and focus easily. The diopter movement is a little stiff, but it keeps it from moving once set. As for resolution and field use, I cannot say enough good things about them. Even when I purposefully fog them with my breath, I can still see well enough to pick out squirrels in the mid-story around my climbing stand.

One thing to note, I have the old version, which is heavier by just less than half a pound, and I find my binocular harness to be the only way to carry these around all day. I had trouble with the lens caps on these as well, but I don't carry my caps into the field, so they end up in the truck regardless. I may try some of the flip-up caps for scopes, if I can find a good fit.

    Pleasant surprise!, December 4, 2006
    By rustyg02 from Katy, Tx.

"I had been holding out for higher end bioculars but I began getting headaches due to eyestrain using the cheapies I had. The Legend 10x42's were much better than I expected from a "mid range" price. They were very bright and crisp in the twilight as well. I was considering these, the Nikon Monarchs and Leupold wind River Cascades as they are all in the same price range. I chose the Legends based on magazine reviews and I'm extremely happy with my choice."

By bubs58 from outside Chicago (but not far enough outside)

"I recently purchased these binoculars based on a review in one of the outdoor magazines and couldn't be happier. They are lightweight, fog-proof, and the optics are crystal clear. Great value for the money and comparable to binoculars costing much more."

Bushnell Legend Binoculars, November 26, 2006
    By BlackDog2 from Lacey, Washington

"I purchased a pair of these binos for a late season bowhunt in Indiana and was well pleased. The clarity and light gathering capabiltiy of the Bushnell optics were excellent, on par with what one experiences with high end optics. They are durable and can take what the outdoors dishes out. The light weight design makes them easy to carry on all day hunts. Don't forget where you put them down because the camo finish will make them disappear."
