"This Sling is excelent. The shoulder sling gives as you walk, and it is sort of padded so you hardly know a rifle is there. This is actually my 5th sling made by butler creek and love it the same as the first. EXCELENT!!"

"This was a gift for my Elk hunting partner. We both hunt with packs all day and I notice that this rifle sling just stayed put no more grabing the old sling as it was slipping off the padded pack frame strapes. Also very nice to have spare shells right there. Worked well in cold weather and no sign of wear. We did not have a problem installing this sling to his ruger rilfle. JF"

"This product really saves my shoulder and my back after a lot of hiking and hard hunting. It has just enough "give" that is takes the weight off your shoulder and reduces the stress and tension caused by a dead weight."

"2nd one I've purchased. Nice to have four shells handy, securely held in the sling. Does not slide off shoulder and very comfortable. The top strap could be a little longer to make it easier to fasten."

"very comfortable sling and extra ammunition on the sling comes in handy. the sling didnt come with anything on it to mount to a gun, but it is easy to attach the swivels with a pair of needle nose pliers. all in all this is a great product!"

"This is the 2nd one of these slings I have purchased and they're great. I use to use a leather sling but it cut into my shoulders and slid off of my jacket all of the time. Bought one of these and the problems went away. Not to mention the "flex" in the strap takes considerable strain and weight off of your shoulder. I hardly notice the 9 lb rifle and scope that I pack around in the foothills anymore.
It is also considerable quieter than any leather or nylon sling I have used."

Nice sling but installation was a pain,

"Te loose end of the strap is doubled over and sewn but I do not see how you can install this sling without cutting the sewn ends off. I tried passing the sewn ends thru the buckles but they were way too thick as is...I resorted to cutting the ends off and searing cut with a lighter to prevent fraying. The upper strap is pretty short and I resorted to a pair of needle nose pliers to get it thru the buckle. Once I resolved the installation problem, the strap was easy to adjust and is comfortable on the shoulder."

"I have this sling on other rifles that I own and have found that when walking that it cushions on your shoulder and is very comfotable, The other thing that I find as a plus is the built in shell holders for extra shells for use in the field then you don't have to fumble around for ones in your pocket."
