"I have insalled the sling . It's on a short double barreled 12 gauge that came from the factory with sling loops. It's mostly for appearance . The sling seems to be good quality for the price ."

"Bought the 1" sling to go onto my mini-14. The sling itself is thick, strong, and great color ... but it is too thick. The brass clamps that are threaded through the sling holders are to high/thick to make the fit. Guess I will wrestle with it a bit and perhaps do a bit of trimming?"

"I don't know if it's an exact military replica...not an authority there, but is sure looks good on my Garands, MIA and 22 Military rifles. Top quality. Can't find a better price. It's a dark brown versus the lighter ones I've seen elsewhere."

Sling works for an 1895 Marlin,

"Just wanted to let you know that I received and mounted this sling on my 1895 Marlin SS.
I specifically wanted a 1" wide leather sling for the Marlin instead of the 1.25" leather sling that I mounted on my Garand. The sling I received was Cordovan in color, which surprised me, but looks really nice. I guess I was expecting a tan or a brown color and only used to seeing that Cordovan color on really expensive shoes.
Want to mention that the delivery time was jackrabbit fast for they said it would take about ten days and arrived in around two. Mind you now, I'm not complaining that I received the sling faster than I expected to, which meant I could get to the range earlier.
I did take the sling, the 1895 Marlin, and a Leupold 6x scope out to the range for personal enjoyment purposes - and shot a 3 shot group size at 50 yds around .625 in diameter. I know that may sound large to some people, especially at 50 yds., but you've gotta remember that this rifle shoots a .45-70 300 grn round that's .457 in diameter, so the three bullets pretty much went through the same hole.
There's no way I can shoot any better with my .45 Sig P220ST at 15 yds!
I'm not saying the Leupold scope or my reloads did it, but the sling sure helped in getting a rock-solid shooting rest.
If you need a 1" leather sling, buy it here..."

"The Triple K military sling I ordered works great, smells great (ahh LEATHER!), all in all I'm completely satisfied. One small gripe; I've never had a "military" sling before and it took me a while to figure out how it's meant to go on the rifle. I found a picture of a bolt action mauser in Guns & Ammo that gave me a good idea of the correct way to install the sling."

"Very good product!!! Easy to mount and adjust according to the shooter needs. I purchased it just a few weeks ago, so I cannot say yet if it is durable and prepared to face different weather conditions. "I am not entirely sure what brand sling that I want issued with my M40 sniper rifle but it is very similar to the Triple K sling that I bought for my Law Enforcement M40 A3 sniper rifle. I purchased other similar slings but they were to thin and I feared that they would break. They also cost twice as much as this sling I purchased from Cabela's."
