Now I can free both hands in the field!,October 22, 2009
By elliedfrom Boise, ID
"I know I've bought a lot of shooting/hunting "accessories" over the years. It looks neat on the store rack, but ends up sitting in the closet.
This, however, comes along in my bird vest on every hunt now.
In mud, snow, gravel or dirt, I can slip it on the gun whenever I need to use both hands but don't have anywhere to put a shotgun with a nice finish.
Now I can pick thorns out of my dog's paws or do any number of other things, without having to put my gun down in the mud. Most of my shotguns have no swivels, but this thing slips on any gun and stays put on my shoulder.
I don't want to have the sling on full-time in the field, so it's equally nice that I can slip it off quickly and easily (unlike a buttstock wrap or some other no-swivel sling solution)."

clean and easy,March 10, 2009
By SaltyPretzelfrom Maryland, little state with big fish.
"The low tech of this sling is the beauty of it. Easy on easy off. And, as it's maker claims, it will not slip off your shoulder as others I have."

gets the job done,January 7, 2009
By TheBigDeerHunterfrom northwest MS
"I used it on my H&R target rifle which doesn't have any swivel studs. the way it is attached doesn't look prety, but it sure works great. I love the non-slip soft rubber padding. I have regular Quake slings on couple of other rifles and I love them for that reason."

Almost too good,December 31, 2008
By ErikinNYfrom Westchester, NY
"I have a "CLAW" sling on my rifle and it is great. It does not slip off your shoulder, however if you want to take it off your shoulder quickly it can be a struggle. The shotgun version works well for my over under without sling studs while walking to the duck blind. Once I arrive I simply slide the sling off and I am all set. I would, and have recommended this sling."

Yodo,December 23, 2008
By Yodofrom Montgomery, Alabama
"My shotgun's butt is a pistol grib and I have to use a swivel to hold it there. No big deal, for the price of the sling and the swivel I can't complaint. Doesn't bother my sight, anyway it is a shotgun, who is going to miss. It is a double barrel and it weights a lot to be walking during rabbit season. I've been hunting a couple of time and I aimed pretty good, got me some rabbits for Xmas. I'm very please with it. Recommend it."

good inexpensive sling,December 23, 2008
By SMLinMemphisfrom Memphis TN
"The sling has a loop at each end. The smaller loop fits over the barrel end of my over and under 12 Ga. The larger loop fits behind the trigger housing. The foam pad is adequate ,but it is not adjustable."

not as good as I hoped,October 8, 2008
By newf32from newfoundland
"I found that yes it does work but there is a problem with it. When using the claw sling the barrel end keeps slipping off. You have to be very carful to hold the gun just right and as you know when hunting this can be quite troublesome. No I do not reccommend this item."

Sling for double guns,April 30, 2008
By NormCfrom Tidewater Virginia
"The sling is easy to attach, the barrel end is lined with suede to protect the barrel and the and the synthetic fabric. The butt stock end functions perfectly. The only draw back is for short barrel guns, the coach guns for example, the sling tends to slip up the barrel when slung muzzle skyward but works exceedingly well when it is carried muzzle down. The padded area of the sling is molded in place so it is useless in the muzzle down carry."

More than shot guns!,April 8, 2008

"The bull barrell on my AR-15 does not have a sling eye so I tried the claw. The annodized barrell refuses to let he claw slide and holds tight. This takes a big load off my arms when varmit hunting and such. Great product!"

slinging,January 15, 2008
By airgunnerfrom Pennsylvania
"I used this sling for a popular brand air rifle that I could not otherwise get a sling for. Works great. Does not block field of fire and is not a bulky sling. Would recommend this sling for shotguns and air-rifles alike that otherwise you would not be able to use a traditional like sling. Great product!"

Shotgun Sling not worth buying,April 2, 2007
By ShotgunSlinger
"The shotgun sling has one major flaw -- the barrel loop is bulky and blocks the shooter's line of sight down the barrel to the bead. I would not recommend this product."
