Solid, No-nonsense sling,

"I picked this sling up for my tactical shotgun for the ease of use (one hand adjustable) and the fact that it looked like a no-nonsense sling. Turned out great for those reasons. What was even better was trying it on my rifle for elk hunting. It turned out being more comfortable than my leather sling, and more versatile, too. The easy adjustment made it great for changing positions as I hiked over the uneven Utah Mountain terrain. I might have to pick up another one so I can have one for each gun."

"I purchased this sling for my Rem 870 short barrel with a rifle stock. The sling is probably the minimum usable length for this shotgun, but this firearm is not a hunting firearm, so my intent is mainly short term carry. If you're portly or extra large, you'd need a longer sling for this shotgun."

"Great value for the money. Very adjustable and yet locks well in place. Nice looking and parctical. I bought four of these and will eventually put one of these on all my rifles. I have tried the expensive ones and the rubber types. Too hard to adjust and way to expensive, considering how good these are and how inexpensive."

"This sling is everything I need in order to supplement the carry of my rifle or shotgun into the field. It is wide enough, quickly adjustable, plenty long and quiet. The sliding adjustment is easy to grasp and use and a hasty sling can be set in moments.
The fact that QD style swivels come with the unit is a bonus. The swivels are blued, which involves some maintenance throughout its lifetime, but that is a minor consideration. It is relatively water resistant and it won't be compromised during an immersion.
I use this sling (and earlier productions of the same) on practically every long firearm I own, the exception being the AR-15 types that have weapon specific slings/straps and two muzzle loaders. (One ML came with a sling and the other is dressed to be authentic period.)
I recommend them as gifts, brag about them with my buddies, and highlight the features when anyone asks. They are so simple yet practical, I wish I had a case or two of them to give away as promotional items. Five stars and "Numba 1" in my book."

"This is the lightest, no nonsense, most user friendly sling money can buy. I have one on each rifle and shotgun I own and give them away as gifts too. I love the easy 1 hand adjustment and the Uncle Mikes swivels. You can carry your weapon over the shoulder or across the back. The only thing I wished it had was stainless swivels as you can not even change them out since they are sewed on but I can live with that. Everyone should have one."

"This was my second purchase of this sling...I liked the first one enough that I've ordered 2 more. I use the sling more so for steady off hand shooting while in tree stands rather than for long distance carry and it works great for that.....nothing fancy...representative camo...gets the job done, and the price is right."

"There is no better critique of a product than to say it works. I have purchased 5 of these slings over the years because they are inexpensive, simple to use, and they work as advertised. You can get complicated slings, expensive slings, and fancy slings but I like to keep it simple. I have one waiting for the next rifle purchase."

"These slings are good quality products as are almost everything I get from Cabela's . I have them installed on a couple of shotguns and a rifle or 2. Nothing fancy just solid equipment that lasts. I have drug them through swamps all over the Southeast and still have the first one I bought in the 80's . Thanks for the good products."

"Excellent one hand operation. I own two and have given one away on a rifle I customised for a friend. I shortened all three by 8-10 inches and reinstalled the butt swivel. The sling is simply too long to pull down tight when you dont want it flopping around."
