"I have a pair of Bushnell Trophy binoculars which I really like, and the weight and price couldn't be beat on this spotting scope. When it came, however, the optical quality turned out to be horrific. A blurry image no matter what distance or magnification I used. It also had pretty poor light transmission. I returned it and bought a Nikon ProStaff, which is amazing in comparison. The quality on the Bushnell was about on a par with my 5 year old son's toy plastic telescope; it was that bad!"

"I bought this spotting scope to put into my backpack while hunting and the main criteria that I considered was weight. It is much lighter than most other spotting scopes, which is critical when hunting at altitude. The optics are adequate during low light conditions, it is easy to focus and is sturdy and well made. If you puchase this scope you should go ahead and order one of Cabelas Heavy Duty Tripods, as the tripod that comes with this scope is inadequate (I bought the Tripod Plus Window Mount which will also fit into the nice hard case)."

"Always loved Bushnell products. Strong customer service and great warranty experiences. For the price it cannot be beat. If you have money get the other, more expensive models. Otherwise this one is just fine. Comes with a great hard case and softcase, protective caps for the eyepiece and lens. The tripod is teeny tiny and may work only on a table or other elevated surface."

"Optics are not great but seem ok. The tripod that comes with the scope is almost useless. It does not provide a firm base for the scope and even a very slight breeze makes the unit move and wiggle."

"its a pretty good scope. it has a good range so you can focus at many different distances. i would recommend getting a diferent tripod though. the one that is included makes for some unconfotable positions to lay in."
