"This product keeps my ATV in place on the trailer no matter how rough the road. Before, I used straps which would become loose due to action from the suspension of the ATV whenever bumps or uneven roadway were encountered."

GREAT INVESTMENT, September 10, 2009
By BLS from COUDERSPORT,PA

"No more fooling around looking for some place to hook tie-down straps to secure my RZR. Just drive on to plates put Fastraps on tires and draw tight and clamp. Straps do not come loose while transporting. I do use one ratchet-strap on rear-end to keep from bouncing. Highly recomend this product."

Fast Straps they don't fail, January 21, 2009
By Tom95490 from Mendo County, CA

"These straps work great and save a lot of time tyeing down the ATV. I have them on a light weight trailer I haul my ATV with and then use with my ATV. Going down the road it bounces wildly. I put a safety chain on the rear of the ATV to the trailer as a fail safe...just in case... In two years of hard use the safety chain has broken but the FAST STRAPS have never failed. I gave my friends these for X-mas they are that good."

Fastrap: Great idea...but., August 25, 2008
By DesertPete from White Mountains of Arizona

"I just screwed a pair of fastraps to the 2x6 deck of my ATV trailer. The instructions said to put the chocks 6 1/4 inches apart for a 25" diameter tire. But when I set the chocks into position it looked like with my big lug tires 10 inches was right. It wasn't. I kept moving them closer together until I finally stopped at 7 inches. My wider gaps clearly allowed too much back-and-forth movement. They want the tire to sit 1/4 above the deck when in the chock, not touching the deck like mine.

Now, for the rub. The box had clear instructions for threading the straps through the chocks. But no threading instructions to show you how to thread them through the buckle that joins them around the tire. Mine quickly worked loose on one side as I drove, then fell off. But I was just guessing how to thread them thru the buckle. The box shows a side view of the buckle, but it shows a solid buckle with the strap going in at one end and out at the other. I need to know where it goes in between. They explained it well for threading the chokes, but then they got careless.

So if I can figure out how to thread the straps through the buckle I'd give it five stars. You can leave the strap joined, and just raise it over a tire then flip the buckle to tighten it in place. Very quick and easy. If the buckle would hold, this would be terrific. In the meantime I'll have to use my original tie down straps.

Fastrap Tie-Down, July 20, 2008
By BigOz from Colorado

"At first I was not sure if I would like the replace for the original production ordered.
I have since changed my mine and found that these hold the ATV'S quite well on the trailer with the straps around the tires in place and secure. The straps do not move with the movement of the trailer when driving.
I like to be safe so I do use one more strap on the back ATV just to prevent that coming off incase the tire straps come loose but this has not happened.
I would also recommend these if you want to elimate the worry of damage to your ATV by strapping down on the body.

fastrap tie-down, May 27, 2008
By feroble1 from Hanford, CA.

"The instructions on the mounting the chocks onto the trailer bed was outstanding. What I found difficult was placing the strap onto the tie-down clamp. I used the photos shown on the box, but the instructions were rather poor, especially for a novice like myself. However, after serveral attempts, I finally figured it out and these tie-downs was the best investment I ever made.
I would suggest a close-up photo how the strap is threaded through the clamp. It's not much effort to create and it would elminate any doubt on how they should work.

Fastrap tiedown, May 21, 2008
By DaveatPa from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

"The pictures don't really do this product justice. The strap is a quality 2" and the wheel chocks are quality metal that you screw into a wooden floor with 6 heavy duty screws and the chocks are high enough to allow tire to "settle" into them. Strap setup is easy and holds tight.

Good buy. I will use this in conjunction with rachet tie downs. But then, I'd rather have more security than not enough.

Good to Go FastStrap, May 18, 2008
By MoabKing from Syracuse, Utah

"I was somewhat skeptical at first but after following the instructions and mounted the FastStrap to my ATV trailer my concerns began to vanish.

Installing the FastStrap was easy and straight forward; the instructions were very adequate to complete the installation.

My ATV trailer is a side load so keeping my two ATV’s (700 KingQuads) secure during transit has been very challenging as the ATV’s would always seems to move just a little during transit down the highway. Being able to look in my side mirrors to verify the FastStraps on my ATV trailer didn’t allow the ATV’s to move, rock or shift over the roughest roads reinforced my belief in the FastStrap system; and because the ATV’s were not shifting on the trailer this made towing the trailer more stable behind my truck (no swaying).

Using the FastStrap is easy as to the strap is already on the trailer so there is no need to add more tie-downs, also the FastStrap becomes a guide when placing the ATV’s back on the trailer. I have traveled from Northern Utah to Southern Utah on some of the roughest roads and never had to readjust the straps or reposition the ATV’s because of transit shift.

FastStrap is defiantly one of the best products that I have ever used, and I would recommend anyone with an ATV trailer to consider using the FastStrap system.

don't waste your money, August 17, 2007

"Sounds like a great idea, doesn't work without wheel chocks. For the money spent on one Faststrap and one regular wheel chock you can get yourself a locking wheel chock."

These tie downs work., June 19, 2007
By Sixtysix from Upstate New York

"Pros:
-They are very fast and easy to use, once they are set up.
-Well made.
-Priced right.
Cons:
-They are designed to be left on trailer, not sure how the weather will affect straps over time. They tell you to run strap through bracket before mounting, but I found you can remove/replace strap with bracket mounted, so I will remove the straps for winter or long periods of disuse.
-Soft ATV tires with lots of tread make it harder to get proper spacing of brackets.
-The soft tires also make the ATV move a little when strapped down. This may be because I use these on front wheels only. I add a regular tie down in rear and it is solid with this set up.
-Must be set up for one wheel/tire size. To use with another size the brackets must be moved and remounted.
Conclusion:
Overall I am satisfied with these tie downs. They are well made, heavy-duty, and look like they will last a long time.
I would recommend these tie downs. Just be aware of limitations. An adjustable plate or mount that allows for easy removal and adjustment to different wheels would solve all the cons, but make them much more costly.
