"I was a little surprised how thin this belt was. I was used to a thicker belt for this type of belt. Having said that I still like this belt, it is reasonably well built and good looking enough for casual wear. I do not expect this belt to last as long as my others of this type though."

"I bought a 40 for 38 pants... maybe should have got a 42.. softened up considerabily from new... much more comfortable now... buckle hold down (backside) unsnaps occassionally... seems like a solid value so far...."

"The leather is softer (a little flimsy feeling) than I expected from Carhartt. It also looked kinda washed out compared to the picture. I worked it some leather conditioner and buffed it out. Now it looks like the stock photo. You could just leave it as is if you don't care about scratches. I hope it holds up. I wouldn't try hanging any tools or a holster from it. Order 2" larger than your waist measurement. It you want a more rigid solid feeling belt get the Cabelas garrison or basket weave belt."

"This is overall a decent belt. I was expecting something just a little thicker in the leather, but it is holding up well. I like this belt and have gotten many compliments on it. I would recommend if you need a decent work or casual belt."
