"If you are wanting extreme wet weather gear then these are not for you but if you want some good light weight good wet weather overtrousers then these are just the ticket. I wear these pants on the farm and out hunting and fishing. Great price and very hard wearing."

Light, Water Proof, and Quiet.,

"This rain gear line is great. i just got back from pheasant hunting in kansas and they worked very well. it was windy, rainy, and cool and i stayed nice and dry. when everyone was complaining about the weather i stayed busy watching the dogs and shooting birds. the material is very quiet and would be good for any hunting situation that doesn't call for insulation. i have two complete sets of this rain gear and the only complaint i have is that the waist elastic is pretty tight for the size pant it is and the jackets run short in the torso length department."

where are the pockets,

"Even if they are for rainy days the pants should have at least one zipper pocket.
Also the fabric is not so good.If you sweat a lot the moisture will remain inside.Not breathable at all.
Also you must order a size smaller."

"Hey i saw your sale on line and for the price i thought i could not loose.So i bought three pair.one for myself and two more for my buddies.Product seems good but the pants are showing wear after onlf two trips on the country with them.To bad us folks from Canada have to pay the duties and the rest but i have bought a fair bit from Cabela,s and i think the service is great.TKS. folks."

"We used these on a fishing trip. 1 day with 1.1" of wind driven rain on Lake Champlain ended with only wet feet. The only thing that would make these any better would be pockets. I constantly was reaching for my inner pockets but for the money, no complaints. I'm considering them as gifts for grandsons."

"These pants are not built for busting brush or enduring heavy rain. If there are any burs in the area they will stick to these pants. I could not get the pants back on because so many burs were sticking the pants to themselves. These pants leaked after one day of hunting."

"I have the Sterns Mad Dog Growler jacket in Advantage Max 4 HD and have been very happy...kept me dry in rainy Northern Quebec late spring bear hunt. I have not tried these out yet...bow season starts next week...but if it is of the same quality I would give it a 5 stars. Its not insulated but I like to layer anyway and it packs down nice for its size."

"These pants have no pockets whatsoever. I returned them when I realized this. The problem isn't Cabela's as I didn't read the product description carefully enough, but I don't have much use for a pair of pants without any pockets. I am still looking for pants with slash, back, and cargo pockets that are in uninsulated Max4. They are lightweight, easy to pull on and off, and are quality made. Just not what I was looking for."
