"Versatile product, modified to fit in two locations in my 14 foot jonboat (center bench and front platform), can be relocated in seconds with velcro strips. Great camopattern, comfortable pad, good quality canvas shell. Removed it from the boat and used it in the duck blind and for kneeling in the cattails. When it's not in use in the field it goes in to the garage as a seat pad on my wooden bench. Throw it in to the camper, put in on a log or bench, keeps you warmer and drier. Pick berries? Throw it on the ground and kneel on it!"

"This bench pad is awesome. No more hot or cold aluminum seats. I bought two, cut a few inches off the length of one, and put them side by side in my wide jon boat. The padding is thick and the pouches are nice. My only issue is they are only 12" wide, so make sure they will work with your bench. They are a little narrow for my bench, so I just centered them and they work. Cabelas, come out with more sizes/widths/lengths!"

"I bought the Cabelas bench seats for my sons boat,he is an avid hunter and fisherman but is not much on maintenance and up keep,he dislikes boat seats because he leaves the boat out in the weather and doesnt cover the seats up and then they rot, but with these Bench seat pads he can with the snap of a finger pull them off and put in the shop when not in use and they go back on with no problems since they have a snap in buckle they dont take long to put on when ready to go.I would suggest that when you get the bench pads you take a soldering iron and burn a small hole in the bottom of each pocket so water can run thru if it rains,that would be a good suggestion for the mfg. to do to the pads before they send out,but not a problem at all to do.I would recommend them to anyone who doesnt like conventional seats,and the pads are very firm wont break down for many years of use.Also material is very heavy duty!! Haney"

"I bought a pair of these camo seat pads for a jon boat that I fish and duck hunt out of. The quality can't be beat and the installation was a snap. Speaking of snaps, it's a good idea to get 4 sets of snaps (2 sets for each pad) and attach a snap to each lower corner of the pocket flap (male portion of snap is attached to side of boat bench; female portion of snap is attached to flap) so that you can snap down the pocket flap to prevent it from flapping around. Other reviewers have mentioned heating a nail and making drain holes in the pockets, which is an excellent idea, but if you've got an old soldering iron laying around, use it (it took me less than 30 seconds to add 6 drain holes to each pad using an old hot soldering iron; the heat seals the edges of the hole to prevent fraying). I had a slight concern about the pad not extending the entire width of my bench seats but this turned out to be a good thing since now instead of stepping on the pad, I can step on the bench seat beside the pad when moving around in the boat. The material on these pads seems extremely durable, but not stepping on them if not necessary saves some cleanup later."

"I am an avid fisherman, i have a 14 ft jon boat and it was the most uncomforting ride until i got these pads. they are great i like the fact that you can clip them down to the seat and don't have to worry about them flying out or taking room up in the truck. the poket system is great for storeing whatever you need in there. the water proof material is great for when you bring in a big fish that wants to get every thing wet, you just whipe it down and your butt don't get."

"Installed these on my duck boat. Was out today scouting in the back waters and the things are great. Love the pockets for gear, map and stuff. As someone else wrote, I'll put some drain holes in the bottom of the pockets. Very comfortable and would high recommend these bench seat pads."
