"From what I've read, nickel plated shot performs better when shooting game. I guess many may find that arguable, but I believe it does and I think that's all it took for me to try it. I found that I got better penetration due to the lack of finding any shot in the game versus using lead shot. I also never relished biting into lead shot after preparing the game. Would definitely use these again in my hunting loads for both pheasants and other upland game birds."

"The quality of this product was fine except for the size. I purchased the #5 size and it was noticably smaller than both the lead #5 that I use and the leftover nickel #5 shot that I had on hand. The size seems to be about #5-1/2 and was noticeably less fatal on SD pheasants last week. Don't know if it was mismarked, but if not, I would recomend buying one size larger than you need."
