"Almost all gloves in a small size fit me well. I ordered the small size in this glove and the fit is very poor. The fingers are far too long and the overall tailoring is also very poor. I have not used the gloves yet so I can't attest to the durability yet. The materials that these gloves are made of appear to be high quality. If you have extra long fingers these are for you."

"i typically wear an XL size work glove, so i ordered an XL size of these and they were too big. not to mention after wearing them for a day they stretched out even larger. great quality as expected from carhartt their sizing just runs bigger than the others."

"These gloves are by far the best gloves I have ever owned for working. I cut a lot of firewood and any normal glove would only hold up for about two weeks. I still have these gloves from when I first purchased them last year and they are holding up great. I use them to cut, split and stack firewood all the time and last year I bought a new pair just to use during hunting season for beating thru the brush during the colder days. Also just as a note, if you have large hands as do I, the XL will be a really great fit. Carhartt gets 5 stars from me on this one!!!"
