"I'm on my second pair of these boots and they are comfortable...BUT like some have said you'll get your feet wet. I haven't had a problem with them right out of the box, but after a year of wearing them for some reason the goretex breaks down an only last a year. I've sent one set back only because I got'em for X-mas and didn't get to use them a full season. And thanks Cabela's for easy return."

"I bought this boots in January or February and only wore them a few times. Loved them. I put them on this weekend and stepped into water and guess what??? My feet got soaked. I am going back to the straight rubber boot. Nobody can seem to perfect this type of boot."

"you will love these boots, you have to be firmly planted on the ground while hunting big game in Canada and I am sure these are the boots to get the job done. I guide bear and moose hunts in Nova Scotia and have sometimes warn out a pair of high priced boots in a two week hunt but these boots have now out lasted boots that I have paid twice as much for. So they are going to see another season of moose and bear hunting along with grouse and snowshoe hare hunts not to mention a long line trapping line over the roughest county you have ever seen. and when I retire them I will order another pair. "These boots provide an excellent blend of the qualities of the rubber x-tra tuff boots that are so popular here in Alaska and leather hiking boots. I am currently on my third pair and I use these as my primary field foot ware year round. They have good traction on most surfaces, including ice and intertidal areas with wet rocks and seaweed. Ankle support is good (better than x-tra tuffs, but not as good as leather boots).
The only drawback is that they start to leak within a few months and start to come apart at the seams and sole by the end of a year. Initially the leaks can be tolerated by wearing a gore-tex bootie, but eventually a new pair of boots is the only solution.
In spite of the fact that these are expensive boots and they only last a year or so, they are the best I've found for my field work. I hope Cabelas works with its supplier to improve the quality of the gore-tex lining and the stitching so that these boots can live up to their potential."

"I got these boots and the first time I wore them I was Coyote hunting and the first bit of water I walked in they started leaking. I was not impressed. So I had to finish my day with wet feet. I am not sure if I got a bad pair or what. I sent them back right away."

"I have a fairly wide foot with a high arch and these boots are kind of a pain to put on Even though I followed the recommendation and ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear. I cannot use heavy socks because of this, but luckily they are a warm boot. Once they are on, they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I would recommend these boots to the average size person and even to a larger person who has narrow feet, but if you are a wide footed person then beware, order at least a size big and wear slick socks to get the boot on. Overall though, I am happy with my purchase."

"These boots are top notch. I did have issues with the sizing. I used the Cabela's sizing chart, and ordered the wrong size, too big. After returning the first pair and ordering the size I do wear plus a half size bigger for thick socks I was in business. The zipper front worked without any binding and made puting them on and taking them off a breeze. The 400 gram insulation was perfect for my area Central CA Sierra Ntl Forrest right below Yosemite August thru October. But if you are planning to hunt in snow I suggest the heavier insulation."
