"The Burr Proof Vest is made with high quality material and will last for years to come. The size runs larger than indicated so I had to return for one size smaller. This is actually a good thing so it can be layered over other cold grear. The vest also comes with several gear pockets that I was not expecting so you can get away with not using a additional pack on short outings. I have used this vest for a pheasant hunt and the burr proof material worked well with brush pants."

"I purchased the vest to take out west on a mule deer hunt, but once I opened the box I realized that this jacket was very heavy for hiking up and down mountains. Well constructed and lots of pockets but very heavy. I would say about 3 pounds (only guessing). I count every ounce when I am puffing up those hills."

Great Vest Bad Zipper,

"I bought this vest recently and had it out hunting twice so far this year. The vest is comfortable not to heavy and has nice deep pockets, however, the zipper splits from the bottom and come undone. this happened when I was digging in the pockets for things. When walking around with the vest to and from my stand and general movement doesn't cause a problem for the zipper. However the zipper is just unstable and will split on you. I was able to force and unzip and and re zip with out a problem but still a huge disappointment. Apart from that I like the vest it is generous in size just order the same size you would wear for a jacket and you should be fine."
