"Works great.
Would have preferred a vise to install the stud but wasn't difficult to drill a straight pilot hole. You just need to determine how far up the butt of the stock you want it. Not a real concern w/ me as I bought my 870 used & will certainly hold onto it.
Now I can negotiate 'the slope' in extreme conditions - having both arms free in case I slip."

"Very easy to install and looks/functions great on my Remington 870. The only complaint is that the size of drill bit to use isn't included in the instructions. I used a 11/64 inch bit and the swivel stud fit perfectly. Great product!"

"I purchased the magazine cap for my Remington 11-87 in order to have a sling for turkey hunting. The product was a perfect replacement for the cap that came with the shotgun. I am so comfortable with having a strap on the 11-87 that I will also be using it for waterfowl hunting."

"instructions need to include appropriate drill bit size for drilling stud hole in stock. I drilled to small and chippedcracked finish on stock trying to screw in stub. Went to larger bit size and went in fine."

"At first I got the 20 gauge cap cause i have a twenty guage but it didnt fit. So i returned it for the 12 gauge cap and that one fit. It gets the job done and its better than drilling into your original cap."

"I installed this product on my 1187 a few weeks ago. After three duck hunts, it's still going strong. I hope it lasts forever. The use of a shotgun sling for duck hunting is a must. It's very convenient to sling the gun over your back when you are working with your dog, picking up dekes, or pouring a cup of coffee."

Excellant quality products for the price.
I have been in the field hog hunting and the whole sling system works just great.
