"The air lucky duck is great with the right amount of wind.Below 5 mph it doesn't work and above 20 it sounds like a big rigs air brakes. But all in all its worth the money just keep the wind in mind."

COOL DECOY,
February 2, 2010
By DURyder
from Erie , Pa
|
"Didn't get to use it much , Bought it at seasons end but do like it so far . put it up in the yard just to see how well it functioned . Took very little wind to move the wings . On assembly all moving parts got a good dose of graphite . Wings spin w/o a problem . Will know better next year . I plan on buying 5 or 6 more to add to my spread . Only got 4 stars cause I haven't seen it in action on live birds ."

Air UNLUCKY Duck,
January 23, 2010
By Dewey5353
from Broomfield, Colorado
|
"These are a waste of money. It has to be a hurricane before the wings spin. I even tried spraying these with lubricant but it still did not work. This thing scared away more birds than attracted. I use it as a lawn ornament now. This is all it is good for."

Air Lucky (money),
January 12, 2010
By Turkilby
from Springfield,OR
|
"This decoy worked awesome my buddy and I picked up a couple, immediately we were noticing birds that would just drop out of the sky on this thing. this is a great product, so if you cannot hunt with moto decoys in your state pick one or two up!!!! P.S. one thing I would like is a longer pole but that was no problem to customize up."

Air Lucky Duck,
January 11, 2010
By Windy50
from Missouri
|
"For an all day hunt with very little wind all you need is alittle breeze. This Air Lucky Duck was like a more expensive MOJO but without the cost, I put 2 of them up with a small set of decoys and had the Ducks comming in. If it wasn't for the freeze up here in Missouri I would be using them more."

Lucky duck success,

"Only use it when you have enough wind, and that is the key to success with the air lucky duck, it adds nice movement to your spread. I liked it so much that I bought another one."

Well worth the $$$!,
January 10, 2010
By JaxDuckHunter
from Jacksonville, FL
|
"First time i used this in my spread i had ducks landing in my decoys all day long. Definitely a must have for all decoy spreads! It convinced my friend to buy one as well to add more motion to our spread. I will say that some sort of grease (whatever works for you) needs to be applied to the wing rods to help with the spinning. Once it gets going though it works great!
Also, hunting in the mashes of FL, the pole that comes with it is too short. It was easy to add on more pole. Just use a 1/2" pipe on the inside, drill a couple holes, and a couple screws and nuts and you are good!
Overall an Excellent Product!!!"

Dissapointed,
January 5, 2010
By MEGADUX
from Sacramento,Ca
|
"Bought 2 of these on sale recently. Lot's of problems right out of the box. The threads on the foot posts were all messed up and I could not attach the wingnut to hold on the feet. The small plastic plug you put on the wing shaft after the spinning wing go's on would not hold it all togather.??? Very cheaply made. Save your money to buy something that is built better. Will be returning them back to Cabela's tomorrow."

you get what you pay for,
January 4, 2010
By BCarroll
from Coos Bay, OR
|
"I have used the air lucky duck a few times with and without wind and it does seem to bring the birds in. If I didnt live in Oregon I would of gotten a mojo motorized decoy. The only real downside with the setup is the stake. When put together is is wobbly and its a bit short, other than that its a good enough product."

JUNK!!! Is being nice.,
December 31, 2009
By Chefnutz
from Warren, MI

"The first time in the field the left side rivets fell out of the wing holder. Fine A few flared ducks, and popped them back in, made it through the rest of the hunt... End the hunt and take it to the boat, both wings fall out at the wing holder!!!! Great. Save up and get a Mojo."

Air Lucky Duck,
December 22, 2009
By DuckBoy111
from Ontario, Canada
|
"I picked up a pair of Air Lucky's when I saw the image, showing three blades on the wings. Unfortunately, the image is misleading as the item only has two blades. I took a bit of a gamble as the description of the item is accurate, denoting a two blade system. Light winds have a hard time turning over the blades, or will only turn one (teflon spray helps). Heavy winds make the decoy rather noisy(but the ducks don't seem to mind). That being said, this is a good addition to your decoys. For the price point, it's hard to beat."

Air lucky trials not so good,
December 10, 2009
By olduckhunter
from Cleveland, TN
|
"Used these along with Cabela's Vortex system, hoping that I would only have to charge vortex 12V battery, but not individual 6 volt Mojo duck batterys. Great Idea, but the air wing decoys made so much clatter that birds would swoop the pool one time, hear the palstic chatter and head elsewhere.
We then rigged vortex up with Baby Mojos and immediately birds would sweep in look it over and most would attempt to land within feet of the unit. MUCH quieter when using units powered via battery. More battery charging but clearly the way to go....
I'm sure the air luckys will attract birds, but where I hunt stealth is critical....the clatter of the wings didn't work for me!!"
