"Excellent jacket this is my second jacket. My other one has sent lock. So I will be useing this one for deer drives and stalking. Excellent warmth and it is quiet in the woods. Sitting on the deerstand with 15 -20 MPH wind, and in the below 0 temp, I stayed warm and comfortable all day. We had some cold, blowing rain, and I stayed dry in my stand. Every deer hunter should have one of these coats THANKS CABELAS"

"Thank you Cabela's for making such a great product- Hunt in Maine: was able to sit idle in a tree stand for 9 hours and remained warm and comfortable. Only wish was that the zipper was "two way" and opened from the bottom up."

"I have worn the Jacket since I bought it in late November to bow hunt here in Mn. Excellent warmth and it is quiet in the woods. Sitting on the deerstand with 15 MPH NW wind, and in the low teens, I stayed warm and comfortable. We had some cold, blowing rain, and I stayed dry in my stand.
I will be purchasing the bib overalls to go with it. Then I will be set. We will be purchasing a set for my hunting partner, spouse, next. We will be able to stay in the woods a lot longer than otherwise we could"

"I thought this jacket would not stand up to a winter in Alaska. I did not wear it in the cold, but the fabric felt weak. It was also short in the arms for me I ordered a 2XL, I wear in other similar jackets. I returned this jacket for my money and went with the Wooltimate instead."

"After the majority of Mississippi's winter being more like spring I finally got to try out my Cabela's Super Slam Elite Fleece when temps dropped down in the teens with a strong north wind. Cabela's has a winner here. The Elite Fleece is one of the finest cold weather garments that I have ever tried. It is super quiet, very comfortable, and most importantly....WARM! I stayed warm all day and never felt even the slightest bit of wind get to my skin. I would recommend the Elite Fleece to anyone. Thanks Cabela's for a fine product!!"

"Warm, quiet, but the sleeves on my jacket are not waterproof. They became very wet inside and also the clothes I was wearing under the jacket. This was on the first occasion I was wearing the jacket, walking for a few hours during a "wet" snowfall. I don't know if it is because of a leakage from the zippers under and along the upper arms, or the material on the arm sleeves that has not been treated properly for waterproofing. I read similar comments from another buyer on these review pages. I will return it and ask for a new one because I like this jacket... if it's waterproof."

"I love this Jacket. It's very warm and not too bulky. If I could improve on this jacket, the only thing I would do is add a double zipper but if you stalk your game this is not a problem. I was able to stand in the middle of a swamp while it was raining like crazy and I was dryer then a bone. Great Gear provided by the great Cabela's!!!"

"I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a cold weather hunting jacket. The Super Slam Elite Fleece jacket is super quiet, very warm and dry even when sitting in a cold northern Canadian tree stand for hours at a time. Earlier this November I harvested two very respectable Whitetail bucks in Northwestern Ontario and I am sure that my Super Slam Elite Fleece Jacket played a large part. By keeping warm and dry I was able to stay in my stand for many hours. The Elite Fleece was absolutely quiet and allowed me to shoulder my rifle and wait for the perfect shot with out making a sound. Both bucks came to within 25 yards before I took the shots
