"I used these pants in Colorado elk hunting this year. They were a very good pant. They kept me warm on the cool days and stopped the wind very well. They only drawback that I found is that they did not have enough pockets for me. I really missed the right handed cargo pocket on the thigh. This is the only reason that I did not rate these as excellent."

"Very warm and comfortable.......only down side is they pick up all the burs and grass seed. Sizing ran big for me but the hem was perfect. Too warm for late summer or early fall hunting if you do any walking. Go with out the windshear for early season and with the windshear for winter hunting. Very warm, soft and quiet."

"Can't beat the price. Placing the order with the cabelas sales associate was quick and easy.
I have been searching for the last year for a good quality fleece jacket and pants for mid to late season hunting.
I believe the search is over with this quality purchase.

"These pants and shirt are the real deal for blocking the wind! I hunt in some bitter temps while chasing predators like fox and coyotes throughout Wisconsin. I use these pants as part of a layering system to keep me warm in frigid temps. I normally wear columbia wool guidewear, which is toasty warm, but the wind cuts right through it. With these pants worn undernear my wool pants, I can stay out much longer! My only problem with these pants is the one cargo pocket on the side. Since I use them in a layering system, I would prefer them NOT to have any cargo pockets, because it just adds bulk for a pocket I dont even use. All in all great product! These are also the quietest windproof pants that I have found (obviously they can't be as quiet as wool, but when worn underneath as a layer, you can't hear a thing - silent)."

"Well I purchased these pants just before bow season here in Alabama to wear later on in the year. Man am I glad that I did. Recently went hunting in Opelika, AL this past weekend, and temperatures were well into the 20's of a morning. The windshear worked great, had a N to NW wind blowing in a couple of mornings at around 10 to 15 miles per hour and not once did I feel any wind. I would highly recommend these pants to anyone looking to purchase a warm pair of hunting pants that are constructed well, and are reasonably priced. Great product, great results, great price."
