"The Cabela's Legacy Fleece Quarter-Zip Pullover with WindShear/ScentEliminator has become my newest favorite hunting garment. I have always liked quarter-zip pullovers and this one far exceeds all the ones I've previously purchased. I have not been a fan of scent eliminating garments simply because of the high prices but decided to purchase this garment because it was on sale. The first morning I wore it I had deer all around me, some within 8-10 yards, and none of them detected me. The second morning I had a 10-pointer within 30 yards and a 8-pointer within 40 yards and they too did not detect me. I won't leave home without this garment now."

"The Legacy Fleece pullover is comfortable to wear and is windproof as claimed. It is not completely silent but quite enough for bow hunting. Is not bulky and light weight. I have used it many times but have not had it long enough to report its toughness or fade proof. It is good for cool weather (40 to 60) ONLY when worn as the outer layer. Works good for layering under a heavier coat though. One thing I have noticed is that the inside layer gets cool when the temperture falls below 40 degrees. This is why I did not give it a 5. The garmet could be improved by adding a warm layer aginst the wearer. You will get hot if wearing it to the stand."

"This fleece pullover really does the job. Have been on stand a number of times with the temp in the 30-40 range and they are plenty warm as the outer layer with just a pair of good long underwear as the 1st layer. Very soft and quiet and does a good job of stopping the wind. The fabric does pick up burrs and such, but they come off relatively easy. Got them on sale and they are one of the best value purchases I have ever made."

"I searched long and hard for a heavy, yet comfortable and roomy fleece that I could wear as a final layer while bowhunting. This has fit that role very nicely while blocking the wind and not creating too much bulk. Blends into the Wisconsin woods nicely this time of year also (Realtree Hardwoods HD). As far as noise, yes, there is some but shouldn't be enough to worry about. I had deer already pass by me at a yard and a half and they didn't seem to hear me as I shifted in my stand to watch them go by."

"Very warm for early bow hunting season.....this is great for fall or winter hunting as an extra layer. comfortable, soft and very warm if you do any walking. The only down side is the shirt picks up all burs and grass seeds but when its wet it is nice as it does not feel wet on your body. Fleece rocks!"

Placing the order with the Cabelas sales associate was quick and easy.
I have been searching for the last year for a good quality fleece jacket and pants for mid to late season hunting.
I believe the search is over with this quality purchase.
Pants and jacket fit great. I now look forward to spending long hours in the cold during deer season in northwest Arkansas. Will use these as a mid layer during late season January/February hunt as well.

"Good product. I bought mine with the idea of wearing it as a layer under a bigger jacket--it was perfect. It is a little tight at the waist and in the shoulders. I would recommend a tall for anyone over 6'0. The windshear works great. I was in S. Illinois bowhunting in 35mph winds and stayed comfortable."

Perfect for insulation layer in cold weather,January 6, 2009

"This is the perfect big game insulation layer under a heavy jacket. I use this pullover as the third layer over top a scentblocker S3 wool expedition top as a midlayer, and an underarmour base 3.0, and top that off with my scentblocker outfitter jacket. This setup is good down to zero degrees with sub zero windchills. When tempertures are above 15 degrees I leave off the underarmour, and I'm good up to 45 degrees. It's the best Insulation layer for late season that I've ever found when your hunting from a tree stand, or ground blind. It also adds to my scentcontrol which is of vital concern to me with Elk, or Deer. I also use this for early morning Turkey hunting as a top layer. It's excellent It cuts the windchill, and it's warm with colder tempertures with only a light shirt under it (between 30 and 60 degrees). This jacket is very comfortable, and I Love the warmth, and it's great wind control. I would recommend this to any hunter."
