"Great Boot!...... Extreme warmth even in sub temps. Easy clean up with good traction. A bit Bulky but hey they're Pac Boots Right? Walked in -15deg F and 1.5 feet of snow for about two hours shoveling snow and all the moisture on the boot never once penetrated it. When i Was done my feet actually felt warmer than any other part of my body."

"I purchased sorel snow pacs for years, but after reading the specs on this boot in the Cabela's catalog decided to try a pair. The craftmanship on this boots looks excellent and the price was right. I wore them around the yard and could feel the "extreme" heat immediately. They are going in my duffel this fall for a good durability field test chasing elk in Colorado. The Cabela's buyer did good on this one."
Best boots I ever employed in the woods,March 28, 2009
By MontanaElkNightmarefrom Kalispell, MT
"I have had many good hunting boots, but these ones make them all pale in comparison. I have been in the woods my whole life and put boots through the utmost abuse. These lasted 7 years and probably a little over 1,000 miles off road. Super warm, waterproof, incredibly durable. The soles finally wore out from the miles before the boot started breaking down. Just bought my second pair. Keeps the price/year down, right?"
"I live in ND and just wore these boots out ice fishing in -20 degree F weather and my feet did not even begin to get cold. These are the warmest boots I have ever worn!! The only thing I do not like is the bulk, it was very hard to drive in them, but the sacrifice is worth the warmth!!! Also, for the size they do not seem to be very heavy, I feel I could walk all day in them! There is no "break-in" period! In all I would suggest these boots to anyone who will be doing any type of activities in the cold!"

"overall very good boots for cold weather. it needs to be cold like below 20 degrees if you have to walk far or you will sweat. the only down fall i can see is they run small. i ordered a full size bigger wish i would have gotten 2 sizes bigger."

They do the job,January 27, 2009

"Pretty Big and Bulky but above average warmth.... After a couple hours my feet still got cold but once I started using the toe warmers in the pocket they worked great. Feet stayed warm in late december with just liners on. Not cheap but with the toe warmers it does keep your feet warm"
Wow!! What a boot!,January 15, 2009

"I never realized that cold feet were not inevitable on those late season deer hunts and ice fishing trips. I've always had issues with cold feet no matter how many pairs of extra socks I put on. I used these boots on four different ice fishing trips (temps. ranging from mid 20's to single digits) now and have yet to experience even a tingle. They are bulky and at first seem kind of restricting but they loosen up after only a couple uses. Overall, for their size they are very comfortable to walk in. They seem to do an excellent job at wicking sweat away from the foot so even if you do some walking your feet won't get cold when you stop. I where a 11 1/2 shoe and after trying them on in the store bought a 13. They are great with or without multiple layers of socks.
Warmth with Traction,January 8, 2009
By Kraflafrom northern Wisconsin
"Highly recommended. The Cabela's Predator™ Extreme Pac Boots are what they say they are - warm, and provide traction. My toes get very cold rather quicly when hunting on a stand in below freezing temperatures. I tried the boot blanket alternative last year (over my wool-lined boots - equivalent to 400 g Thinsulate) and it did not help at all. So I spent the money and got these boots. They made a huge difference. I used them several times between temperatures of approximately 0 and 32 F (without considering windchill). My feet were chilled at times, but they were not burning in pain, and I was not forced off the stand. And some of that time I did not even utilize the heat packet feature in the bottom of the liners. If these worked for me (with my feet that easily get cold), they should work for you. I have also used them ice fishing. They are slightly bulky for walking in the woods and for driving, but they are pac boots. That said, they have excellent traction for pac boots. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that I have only used them for one hunting season so far, so I do not know about overall longevity of the product."

"After 2 years of use I can't find a reason why someone wouldn't want a pair of these in their box of tricks for the cold weather. If you are sitting for the day, these are the boots you want to have on your feet in the extreme cold weather."
Nice Boots,December 16, 2008
By Drucam11from Saint Joseph, MO
"The boots are very well insulated, and will keep your feet plenty warm. The only thing I didn't care for is how big and bulky they are. The make for some great boots for your tree stand, but not so much for stalking on hunting trips. But if your like me, you can always make due with what you have."

Predator Pac Boots,December 8, 2008

"I needed new boots for deer hunting this season, so the search was on. I chose the Predator Extreme Pac Boots as they had the highest cold rating. I do a lot of stand sitting in very cold temperatures and require a boot that is warm. The boot comes with very thin wool liners, which I quickly got rid of and replaced with 3/4 foam liners. Cabela's would be money ahead to put a thinsulate foam liner in the Predator boot. It would be nice to have other camo patterns to choose from. The camo pattern is already wearing off the sides of the boot. They are warm, but not as good as the pair they replaced. I hunted in 1 degree weather and my feet were cold after 1 hour on stand. For the cost I expected more."
"The boots work great with the toe warmers. The liners in the boots ripped out after three weekends of use. Need to come up with a better way of manufacturing the liners. For the price that I paid for these boots, you would think that a year of use would be expected before failure."
