The innovative Comfort Trac™ outsole is still crafted with the same tread found on top-shelf hikers for traction and stability in the muck and over dry land. And, to ensure your feet stay firmly planted in the boots without any heel slippage or pinching, the contoured ankle surrounds your foot and lower leg in firm support.
But the advanced highlights don't just stop there, a stretch-nylon backing around the upper skirt of the wader promotes a higher level of comfort and freedom of movement you'll appreciate when wading across streams and marshlands.
The interior calf harness adjusts easily with a Velcro® strap for a custom fit that conforms to your walking stride. Snaps on the calf harness and upper thigh enable you to roll the boots down for added freedom of movement while the nylon belt straps boast quick-release buckles to keep the tops of the boots high when wading through thigh-high water.
Plus, we've outfitted this all-terrain hipper with a warm layer of 800-gram Thinsulate™ Ultra insulation to battle the coldest waters and conditions. Weight: 8 lbs. per pair. Men's whole sizes: 7-14.

"The reason I gave these boots a two star rating is because the ankle is so tight I could not get my foot in my regular size with a sock on. When I got my barefoot in I had more room than I needed if I would have had a heavy sock on. So I had to go one size up and put a sole liner in to snug up the fit and the boots are still a little looser than I would like. The larger size is still difficult to get past the ankle section. I think if the ankle were a little bigger I could have used my regular size even with a heavy sock."

"They just what the doc. ordered. They were warm, good fitting and comfortable all day. I put liners from some of my favorite. tennis shoes in them, and didn't even think about my feet all day. near the end of the day as do all boots they got a little heavy, but really not that bad. The rubber is thick and supple enough to avoid any cracks or punctures, so I enjoyed my days in them. They are what they're supposed to be, hip boots, nothing more nothing less. For the price I don't think you can beat them."

"Very nice hip boot for shallow water hunting. The boot fits well and is quite comfortable for long walks through the marsh. They are not real bulky and the velcro calf-straps are another great feature that are easily employed and add to the comfort. If you're looking for a good hip boot for those situations where bulky waders are too much, this is the boot."

"they got a hole in them on the first day and they were not even getting hard use. The poorest hip boots I have ever had. I spent two weeks with wet feet. One good thing they were insulated and the time on the river was cold but I did not freeze my feet. When I take remote trips I nead good quality products and that is why I have been using cabels"

"These hip boots were just as advertised. They fit well, and stay put especially when you tighten the calf strap. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have the capability to be folded down and buttoned to be used as knee-high boots when it is hot out and they are not needed to be up all the way to the hip. Would not work well for any cold weather hunt. Would recommend."
