By wantyfrom central wi
"well i ordered these because i felt my rage 3 blades lacked penetration.... I tried shooting them and the shot about 5-7 inches lower than my field points and like 2 inches right....so my buddy tried them out and they shot dead on. i mean DEAD ON! so idk if it was my rest or fletchings or what but i sold them 2 him....... i would have kept but think it is a big hastle when heads dont shoot the same as tips"

magnus stinger,October 28, 2009
By unclephillyfrom Clovis Cali
"OK..here is the skinny on these broadheads. I just got back from a South African trip. I shot a Black Wildebeast, Impala,2 Fallow Deer, Common Springbuck at around 20 yards, plus a Blesbuck at 40 yards and and none of them went more than 100 yards before expiring. My PH(professinal hunter) was so inpressed with these broadheads they he wants me to send him some. They see all kinds of broadheads from all over the world and he wants these. I guess that speaks for it self. I am only shooting a bow that has a 60# draw weight and I blew threw all the animals, with a great blood trail, but if they only go 100 yards...what is the use in a blood trail? You can watch them expire. But the blood trail was like a path. Put a good shot on your animal and no worries. Good hunting and get these broadheads."

Magnus Stinger 4 Blade,October 26, 2009
By Trip99from St Marys, GA
"Let me start by saying that of many different broadheads that I have tried, including some expandables, these were hands down the best flying head I have tried. I switched sights recently and used these heads to sight in. After sighting in with these, my field points were dead on. This was a first for me because I have NEVER found a broadhead that flew this good. I just returned from a 4 day archery hunt in my home state of Illinois where I harvested 2 does. The first doe was spined at 50 yards, and required a second shot, but she only lived about 10 seconds after that. That was the furthest I have ever attempted to shoot a deer with broadheads, but was confident after much practice. I didn't take into account for her ducking a little once I shot and that's why she was hit in the spine. The broadhead was pretty much destroyed, but I doubt there is a broadhead out there that can withstand that type of impact and associated twisting and kicking. The tip was rolled and the ferrule was bent. I know that Magnus will send me a new one and it did the job just fine. The second doe was hit at 22 yards and the broadhead took out the lungs and the very top of the heart. The blood trail was not overly huge, but quite sufficient. She only went about 30 yards and was down for the count. One thing that i really like about these heads is that they are easily sharpened and can really hold an edge. I will continue to use these until I find a reason not to. If you are like me and want a broadhead that flies as good as a field point and are willing to sacrifice a small amount of cut, these might be the broadheads for you."

This is a trip....,October 26, 2009
By leadslingerfrom Bozeman, MT
"SUPER easy to tune!!! Useing the same broad heads id been shooting to practice day after day i took my elk this year. A couple quick pass's over a stone and they are ready to cut some meat. I double lunged and shattered two ribs on my bull at 90 yes 90 yards and had a near full pass through from my 70# bow. he broke off about 4" as he took off. he want less then 60 yards. Easy to tune, quite flight, predictable flight, extremely durable, i love em. Side note... i do take the bleeder off as they seem to hinder consistent flight."

broadhead for life,October 8, 2009
By smokinheadfrom Longmont,Co
"Took a 40" Shiras moose this year in Co. My arrows are coming out with 75fpe. I took a head on shot at 10 yds and buried my arrow thru his brisket. Not the shot I wanted but had no choice. He made it less than 75 yds. The blood trail was the old thumb over the end of a garden hose all the way to him. I new I bought the right heads when I pulled them from the package. Won't ever change heads."

"I used the Magnus Stinger with the Stalker Extreme carbon arrow. Extremely true flight, 40 yd shot, the elk went approx. 75 yds and was dead VERY quickly! My buddy used it also ( w/ Gold Tip arrows) and harvested his elk same place two days later with same results. Highly recommend!"

magnus stinger four blade,August 16, 2009
By lovethembucksfrom Md
"I started using the four blade broadhead's 2years ago. I was using other broadhead's that would do the job but not to my satisfaction. I would double lung a deer and it may run 30 to 50 yards and I would'nt find a drop of blood. A archery store in southern maryland told me about the stinger and would recommend that I try them. So I did, a couple of weeks later I finally got the chance to use them. What a difference, lots of blood sprayed everywhere most deer with a good clean shot won't run far. But it's nice to be able to follow the blood trail to them instead of guessing were they ran or getting your tracking dog to find them. I am hooked and will stick with magnus from here on out."

Great Product,July 30, 2009
By DeerHunter5952from Fort Wayne, IN
"The Stingers are an excellent broadhead for someone that is having penetration problems. I only found two problems with the Stingers. 1) They do not fly like field points, and yes, my bow is paper tuned. 2) The bloodtrails are very weak, they fill up with blood on the inside. I shot three deer last year with the Stingers and all three had the same results. All and all, the Stingers are great, but if you are like me, I want a broadhead that shoots identical to my field points and leaves a heavy bloodtrail."

Impressive!,July 5, 2009
By hoosierhog12from Indiana
"best fix blade i have ever shot. I was very skeptical about these broad heads but they have solid reviews so i tried them out. i shoot the mathews reezen 7.0/70lbs/340 FMJ's/blazer veins. I have shot wasp 3blade, muzzy 3 blade, slick tricks, and spitfire mechanical blades. The stingers fly better and more consistant than any of them out to 55 yards"

Performed well,June 4, 2009
By 2myoufrom Mountains of Colorado
"I bought the four-blade for my daughters compound. She shoots a bear compound set at 38 lbs. At 25 yds and under her arrows flew perfect. Fall 2008 she turned 12 and was able to hunt in Colorado. She shot a cow at 15 yds. The shot was less then perfect. The cow ran off and I was sure we would not find her. When we got to the last spot we saw the elk the blood trail was huge. We followed pools of blood for about 50 yds right to the elk. Needless to say I was very happy with the broadheads performance."

Field Tip,April 29, 2009
By cmus01from Lincoln, CA
"When picking a broadhead I went based on the rating stars, and customer satisfaction on Cabelas web site to make my decision. The reason to go to a fixed blade versus mech is because of issues that may arrise when hunting in the field with mech. My father in law would tell you the same thing. He has had issues with his mech since he got them. Based on the results on the review board, and actually shooting them, it is what I expected. At 60 yds I will hit bulls eyes all day long like my field tips. Now I'm going to look at rangefinders. Using the same tactics to finding the one that fits my needs."

Great Blades!!!!,March 12, 2009
By happyunter22from North Georgia
"I bought these broadheads becuase I wanted to get away from mechanical broadheads. They were razor sharp right out of the package and are very well made. They spin true and fly exactly like my field points. I am putting them on the business end of Carbon Express Terminator Lite Selects with 3" AAE vanes and launching them out of a Bowtech SWAT at around 285 fps. They make no noise on the way to the target and go through a 24 in block of new styrofoam plus about 3 inches. Cannot wait to put them through a deer this fall!!!!!"

"I just switched from the 2 blade to the 4 because of a lack of a good blood trail.Even with good hits, the exit hole seemed to close up quickly. Hope I have better luck with these. I've only been able to shoot them on the range and preformance is similar to field point. I say similar because those 2 little bleeder blades weigh a mere 5 grains, yet just enough to shoot a little low.Arrow flight itself is perfect. Will give it 5 stars at the end of the trail."

amazing broadhead,February 16, 2009
By lumpy586from NE pennsylvania
"I have tried many broadheads from fixed to mechanical. Time and time again I keep coming back to the 4 blade stinger. I can't find a braodhead that matches up to it. Last year they proved their worth, I harvested a buffalo with them. Each shot was @ 20 yards and each was a complete passthrough. I was shooting a pse nova set at 60lb and using Easton full metal jacket shafts. The first shot was directly into the front shoulder and this broadhead blew through this massive beast. The hole it produced was impressive. This animal bled so severly, I think a blind man could have followed. The second shot was high double lung and that was all she wrote for that buffalo.
If your tired or wasting your money trying different broadheads, STOP with the stinger. You will be hard pressed to find a better broadhead. Oh by the way, they are razor sharp and strong as nails. They fly just like my field tips out of the pse and also out of my bowtech 82nd airborne @ 70lb."

deadly accurate,January 21, 2009
By Dunker34from Iowa
"I was a little skeptical about the accuracy that these blades would provide. My first 5 shots at 20 yards with these blades put my mind at ease. These blades shot as accurate as my field points. I did not have to make any adjustments. I have run the gauntlet of trying to find accuracy, reliability and durability. These blades provide all these things. I have used many different types of mechanical blades, and have had good success with some, but there is always that worry in the back of my mind about mechanical failure. That worry is gone now. These fixed blades fly great. Highly recommend. Good luck."
