"Read this from others, that they are not real comfortable when you first put these boots on. I will concur with that assessment.
But if you give them a chance for a couple of days, they get broken in, and work real well. Have already had to spend the day out in a snowstorm with them, and they are sealed good. Will still take some boot sealant to them, just to insure that they are taken care of. But after a couple of weeks with them, they are working out real well.
Plus I have not seen them leave any marks on the floor, like what was advertised.
Good boots, and if they last, worth the price..."

"very nice boots. They are comfortable once worn a couple of times. They break in easy. I wore them the first day i got them and that just about broke them in. They are a nice work boot, and i even use them for hiking a little bit, although not the best for a hiking boot"

"I have had problems with my feet for years,tried many different styles and brands. This is my 2nd pair and I love them .Solid support that lasts all day. Never leak and they protect your feet. Looks Interesting But Could be Better...,September 10, 2009

"I like the leather. The black rubber-like toes scraped a bit reveal a white layer and I have to magic marker them black because it looks nasty -- like blotches of spilled, dried milk. The stitching is not holding up around the steel toes and I keep having to melt them with a lighter hoping to prolong the inevitable. Don't kick anything with your heel on this boot because the foam sole separates from the tread. Overall though, I do like these boots. The uppers are very comfortable, the insoles are okay. It is a solid feeling boot and I've had multiple people ask me where I got them from. I tell them the same thing I tell a lot of others that ask about my other cool stuff -- Cabelas!"

"Searched for years for a replacement for the "Rocky Square Steel Toe" boots that were discontinued. The Cabela's Lace-To-Toe GORE-TEX® Steel-Toe Work Boots give me more toe room than any others I have tried. The toe cap solved all my problems with damage toe leather from dropped manhole covers and kneeling on rough streets. I wear them 5 days a week and don't treat them very nice and they don't let me down, Nothing Else For Me."

"One of the best boots I have ever worn. Break in was quick and painless. Weight is what you would expect from a pair of steel toes. All day comfort!!! Gore-tex lining keeps your feet dry from outside elements as well as from perspiration. Boot laces are somewhat cheap (outer layer pulled apart from liner). Awesome boots!!! A++++++"

"I've had two pairs of the insulated version and really like these boots for style and comfort. Just ordered a third pair, going to try un-insulated version for summer. Hope size and comfort are as good as others. The only criticism I have is that the soles wear out too quickly and leather separated from rubber heel on last pair. However this did not happen on the first pair. If you could create a longer lasting sole these would be the perfect boot."

"I have owned two pairs of these boots and am getting ready to order a third. These boots are ready to wear out of the box, and feel better that the more expensive brands i have tried. The only reason i have to get a new pair is that the eyelets have worn enough over the last two years that they are starting to cut the bootlaces. They are waterproof as advertised and i wear them regularly for 14 hours a day while working."

"One of the most uncomfortable boot I have ever owned. My feet hurt for two days after wearing them to work. They are to stiff and rub on your toes hard to walk in because of stiffness. They also look cheap we you see them in person. I been wearing boots for 15 year to work this is the worst pair I have ever had to send a day in, I would of gave them a chance if I thought they just needed borken in , but I don't think they ever would feel good. I returnd them , no way I could wear them the rest of this season."

"I bought these boots at the Omaha store and the gentleman in the shoe department was great to work with. He highly recommend these boots. I took his advise. I bought some leather conditioner to help break in the boots and it worked very well.
I have worn them a few days now working on the farm and they are very comfortable. Break in was very quick. I can't wait to see how they hold up in the long run. I am sure they will do fine."
