"I have bought 3-4 pairs of these boots to date & have tried a few other boots. These are the only ones I buy now for all my hunting. I mostly upland bird hunt, but do a lot of it. I put many, many miles on these boots in all conditions and have never gotten wet feet. They wear very well, giving at least a couple seasons of very hard use before I feel the need to replace. They have a great lug sole that gets good traction in all conditions & have never caused me to get sore feet or sore back as have others I have tried. I have recommended to many friends & am well pleased with the quality at a great price. The only boot I plan to buy in the future."

"Let me just say that I am really picky when it comes to choosing outdoor gear, especially boots. I looked at a lot of different boots/manufacturers before I came to these. These were comfortable straight out of the box and were warm without being too bulky. As far as walking, the tread is really aggressive with no sliding or losing traction. One thing, though - these boots run real true to size so keep that in mind. Overall, a great boot - thanks Cabelas!"

"Well since i am size 14, I don't have the luxury of buying shoes by fit, to make matters worse i have sensitive feet. When i first put on the boots they were hard and didn't fit so well. Immediately i figured its another disappointing long distance shoe fiasco. Well I wore them to work expecting to remove them at the shop and put on my regular work boots. Amazingly not only did i wear them all day but the next two days. No blisters no hot spots, I guess i got lucky with this pair and would strongly recommend them, they appear to be heavier than my other pair and should last longer."

"These boots were excellent exactly what I had expected. These boots do require a little time for break in, but after the first day of hunting they were good to go.
The only down side is the boots had a pinch point on the front of the ankle that caused a small cut while in the break in period."

"I have had my Iron Ridge boots for over 5 years. They're beat up and very well used. My next pair of boots will be another pair of Iron Ridge (leather) - Hands down,these are the finest boots I have ever owned and I'm pushing age 60. I have used these boots for hunting, fishing, working, and you name it... to beat all, they are still waterproof. Very little break-in time and as comfortable as house slippers. The only maintanence needed is an occasional coat of mink oil or boot dressing of your choice. Thanks Cabela's..............."

"I've always been poor when it comes time to elk/deer hunt ;for one reason or the other. I've never had a "good" pair of hunting-specific boots, and appear to have poor circulation in my feet [cold feet in cold weather being the result].Through a work related rewards program ,I earned a $250.00 gift card-this meant I could finally have some cold weather boots. I will find out this Fall/Winter how well these boots work. Fairly un-impressed with the bulkiness of the tongue and the weight of the boots-perhaps I should have purchased the Danner boots instead of Cabelas brand."

"These are great boots for the money. Great leather, great traction! The tongue of these boots is fully gusseted so it is kind of bulky but not to bad. The lace hooks seem kind of hard to use but OK. They are very warm and dry. Overall these are awesome boots for the price. The quality of the leather is very good!"
