Dead on Accuracy!! Quick Kills!!,
October 9, 2009
By bdel3

"I hunt from a ground blind with mesh windows and use the Wasp Bullet 75 grain broadheads, and they are death to a whitetail!! I was hessitant to buy them at first due to the perceived small cutting diameter of 1", but I think it is more important to place the arrow in the kill region than having an extra 1/8th of inch of cutting diameter. Other broad heads that I have tried will give you a 3-4" grouping at best and fly unpredictable at times; therefore it is more important to me to place the shot accurately and have confidence the arrow will be where your sight is at on the target. These broadheads group like a field point! I have shot this broad head completely through a deer with the deer looking at my blind. It entered his chest came out of his hind quarter; he ran about 30 yards and dropped. This broadhead will penetrate. In my opinion this broadhead is the best available on the market!!"

Good broadhead,
September 3, 2009

"I have been trying so many different broadheads lately to find one that I can finally have the confidence in to stick with. I hunt a state that expandables are illegal so finding a solid fixed blade can be tough for a bowhunter. I feel that this is the second best fixed blade that I have tried. The Slick Tricks flew the best and are about as close as you can get to your practice tips. These are a great deal though as you get 6 in a pack and the quality is good. The tip and blades are great. I did not hunt with these so I could not give them 5 stars. I would recommend trying these if you are looking to try something different."

"I hunt from a ground blind with shoot through mesh windows, and mechanical heads are not recomended due to premature opening as it passes through the mesh. I tried several different fixed blade heads and nothing came close to feild point accuracy, let alone grouping tight groups. Then i read the reveiws on these and decided to try them. Amazing, I get better groupings with these than I do with field points and my grouping is only 1/2 inch left of center without changing a thing from last year. A three shot group at 20 yards was covered one lens of a pair of reading glasses. Although I have not got the chance to try them on a deer yet, I can say this is the best one yet for the set up I have. Some reviews talks about the small cutting diameter, but lets face it, a deer can be killed with a field point if you place the shot well."

Boss Bullet,

By TreeCllimber

"I used the Boss Bullet for 5 years and I never had a problem. I couldn't understand why all my archery buddies swore that their broadheads shot different than their field points. Then I switched to another brand and I understood. I learned my lesson. I just switched back to the Boss Bullet, I won't ever change again. If you want a broadhead that shoots the same as a field point, this is it. The Boss Bullet !"

All You Need in a Fixed Blade Broadhead,
May 11, 2008
By Cheapskate2
from Ramsey, MN

"These are the only broadheads I have used for deer. I shot my first deer ever with one last fall. It was a 30 yard broadside shot. The arrow passed through. It was a lucky shot. I hit it near the back end but must have hit a major artery because it bled out quickly. The arrow hit the hip bone and one of the blades was bent when I found the arrow. I will be buying some replacement blades sometime soon. I use Rocket Hammerhead 2" expandables for Turkey, but I would not trust an expandable for deer. I break blades on a bird, I couldn't imagine how they would hold up to a large animal. These Wasp Boss Bullet broadheads fly just like fieldpoints. They don't have the biggest cutting diameter, but in my opinion: a strong, dependable, accurate, lower cost broad head is better than a fancy, expensive, kind that you need to adjust the sights for. A broadhead that is able to punch a hole through a deer is plenty deadly. If the animal doesn't die from a broadhead like this, the shot should have been placed better. You can spend more on a broadhead, but.......Why?"

"I used these heads for the first time this season and they worked great, they flew like my field points and did a great job on a 8 point that I hit in the spine (no tracking) the blades where damaged but I the point and shaft stayed true. I replaced the blades and still got true flight. I will continue to use these braodheads and would recomend them to anyone."

"This head flies VERY well, is rock solid and the blades are shaving sharp. Tune them in line with your fletches and you will be amazed how true to field points they fly. I have taken 4 deer in 2 years with them, at 280 fps crono'ed w/BT Allegiance. All deer recovered within 50 yards. 100% satisfied w/Wasp Boss Bullet."

Great Broadheads,
September 27, 2007
By Waspman
from NC
|
"This is the most accurate head I ever shot. It flies with my fieldpoints. I use the easy fletch Blazer vanes with no helical and its awesome. Do not worry about the 1 inch cut. I have killed 2 this year and combined have had to go only 60 yards. I don't even have to follow a blood trail (which is no problem to see). I will never change unless the bullet is is no longer availible."

"These broadheads seem to pattern well but would need to be tuned a bit to hit where my field points hit. They don't hold up well when they hit the ground but when you get 6 for the same price as other companies that give you 3 its not such a big deal. Very consistent though and very sharp."

BOSS BULLET BROADHEADS,
July 14, 2007
By KAYAKCAMPER
from Wisconsin
|
"I have used this arrow head last year for the first time and was very impressed with how straight they flew. I didn't need to make any adjustments or make any corrections to tuning my bow to shoot these arrow heads. I practiced out to 50 yards and was still placing them into a pie plate. Although the diameter is smaller than any other head that I have shot. But that didn't diminish this broadheads ability to do what is was designed to do. I arrowed three deer last year with complete pass throughs on all of them. One doe, and two bucks. Of the three, two died with in site of my stand. The one that I did track, the wound channel was so clean that there was no problem following the blood trail, and it wasn't along tracking job either. I now think of these arrow heads every time I look up at the trophy hung my wall. I would recommend this product to anyone."

"I have shot these for two years now and I have yet to find a more accurate broadhead. I killed a Monster Whitetail up in Saskatchewan with one of these and he only went about 25 yards. However I recently purchase a set of replacement blades and the new blades are no longer solid, they have a cut out in the center of the blade. I will have to shoot these to see if there is any difference in accuracy."

Good broadhead,
December 15, 2006
By Beerhog

"Shot one deer with these broadheads and the results were quite deadly. At 48 yards, the arrow went clean trough and the deer didn't get to 100 yards after the shot. As far as the small cutting diameter goes, don't worry about it. The exit hole was about 2 inches wide and actually cut right trough a rib bone on it's way in...."

"These broadheads shoot like field tips, they leave a good enterance and large exit hole. Penatration is awsome, the deer didn't know what hit it it went 20 yards and stopped looked back took two walking steps and fell dead. I'll keep shooting these broadheads foresure."
