Excellent Grips!!,
January 1, 2009
By CTRon
from Berlin, CT
|
"I mounted these grips on my Yamaha Grizzly 700 front rack. I used them to hold my new Matthews DXT bow. They did an awesome job of securely holding the bow to my quad and isolating all the bumps. I just had to make sure I went slow through large puddles so the water didn't splash over the top of the quad onto my bow. These grips hold the bow very securely. The Velcro fasteners make it very easy to put the bow in and take the bow out. I highly recommend them!"

"Have only used this for 1/2 of a season, but the roads I drive are extremely rough and covered with huge boulders. So far this item has exceeded my expectations. Installation was easy, it grips very well and has done NO damage to the bow finish."

JUST BUY IT,
September 4, 2008
By quinn100
from Mars Hill North Carolina
|
"There is not another product out there thats better. It has a velcro strap thats makes a little noise when you undo it and with gloves it maybe a little difficult to thread through; big deal, its a small price to pay in comparison to your bow for something that will secure your bow to your atv and you know that its not going anywhere. I just cannot find a way to say that this is a bad product."

sturdy bow mount,
June 17, 2008
By PaCabowmanhunter
from Pa and Ca
|
"I use these to mount my Bowtech Allegiance on the front rack of my Polaris 700. I actually rolled my quad with the bow strapped in the mounts when I was trying to manuver down a steep rutted dirt road. Luckily when I mounted them I didnt crank the bolts down too tight and as the quad rolled over, the bow hit the dirt and mounts rotated on the rail a bit which saved my bow from taking the brunt of the impact.
I have been using these for 3 years and have not had any problems. They hold the bow very tight. Just check them every so often to make sure all the bolts are snug."

Mad Dog ATV Bow grip,
May 12, 2008
By Engine10
from London, ON.
|
"Seems just OK. I was disappointed to see the hokey velcro strips for securing the bow limbs in the rubber slots. The ad for the product states a rubber latching strap is used. The design with the velcro stap is an anoying, fiddly effort to do up, plugs with mud and dirt, needs a light to find the slot for the strap and thread the strap through in the dark. Overall though the mount assy. installed easily, good instructions."

Mad dog ATV Bow Grip,
November 6, 2007
By kstmbuild
from New Hampshire
|
"This bow holding system is quite simply the best. Easy to install and once installed very easy to use. Just got back from a week long bowhunt in Ontario. Used the ATV every day to access remote stand sites. Once the bow is strapped in it will not move at all. We traveled on some very rough terrain without a single problem. Perhaps the only drawback to this system is that it will only hold the specific bow that it was installed for."

ATV Bow Grip Works well,
October 22, 2007
By dmz0224
from Fairfax, VA
|
"I mounted these easily on my Suzuki Eiger 400 ATV. It took a little "playing around" with the grips and my bow to get them situated, but all is well. The grips hold the bow very securely when boiuncing around on the trail. The velcro straps are noisy when opening to remove the bow, but this is not a show stopper at all."
