"First of all you need to make sure the distance from the rest to your string is great enough. I had to switch to quickspin vanes because of this. Only to find out the quickspin vanes do not work with the WB. They come off all the time. As far as noise, I would say that comes down to proper WB size compared to your arrow diameter. I found that the WB was actually quieter than my BoDoodle rest. However I am still going to be switching to a drop away rest. I have it mounted in front of my hand right now, so I can use regular vanes."

"There is not a better HUNTING rest out there. If you are looking for durability, no hassle consistency...this is your rest. I have had no problems with noise, fletch tear or with performance in wet or rainy weather. Took an elk this year in a down-poor and the rest performed flawlessly. Have well over 6000 shots with same whisker with very little wear. Tunes up better with cock vane down."

"When I first got it, it was a great improvement over a standard rest. It does keep your arrow on well.
HOWEVER: it will damage your vanes over time; if it gets wet and freezes up you are done for the day. It is very loud when pulling back when you draw the bow.
WB was great in its day but now with drop away rests I took the WB's off both my bows.
I know they have tried to teak it with less brushes etc. but I don't have the vane, freezing damages issues as I did with WB.
Time to retire this deal and get with a more modern rest IMHO."

"i had this rest on my bow for two years and this rest has cost me a pope and young muley in full velvet and a 16 in antelope...had both within 30 yards and as i threw they both heard my arrow scraping on the buscuits bristles and both spooked out of range....go with a drop-away rest"

"A very good rest. I have noticed that if your arrow is wet your arrow will catch the rest and will not shoot as smoothly. Also make sure you have the right size arrows for the rest or it will rip up the "whiskers" and your shot will be way off."

"I am very happy with the rest. I am a first year bow hunter so this rest is more than applicable for my situation. I do not like the noise it creates on the draw back. I dont know how to curb this or if it is just part of what you have to deal with. All in all I am happy with the purchase and will stick with this rest for a while."

"Once you get it set right and tight it is great. Even in the thick brush of West WA. My arrow has never fallen off when stalking. it also increased me from a ten in. diameter at forty yards to a five. Worth the time to set it up."

"this rest is an ok rest, but when you just get it, it kinda makes ur vaines wrinkley or even tears them off, after u shoot a while with it i think it starts to break the bristles in so it dosen't hurt ur viens anymore, but one other downfall 2 this rest is that it does make a little noise when the arrow flies thru the bristles, as where a drop rest dosen't, but dont get me wrong, this is a very accurate rest, but their are better out their.."

"I shot this set-up for 2 years, did alright up to 30 yards. Beyond 30 yards, the Whisker Biscuit greatly effects the flight of your arrows, reduces arrow speed (5-10 FPS) and damages vanes. During late Fall, when frost can appear, the Whiskers can make a loud Screach as you draw! I since switched to the Trophy Taker Extreme Containment, and could not be happier, tighter groups (1 inch at 30 yards, 2 inch at 40 yards). The speed increase is undeniable! I had to move my entire sight up 1/4 inch! I almost Robin-Hooded my arrows several times, just tuning my sight pins! Save the "Biscuits" for your dogs and the gravy!"

"I have tried several different arrow rest over the past 12 years and the Whisker Biscuit is the best hunting arrow rest ever made. It works flawlesly every time. I have seen and heard from severl people that you will lose speed with a WB, they are wrong. It's foolish to spend more money so you can look good instead of getting a proven performer like the Whisker Biscuit."

"I have tried numerous rests over the years and I only use the Whisker Biscuit now. Quiet. Simple. Precise. No working parts to malfunction at the moment of truth after your bow has been put through the wringer. Good in all weather conditions. Holds the arrow perfectly in place while stalking, crawling, whatever. It does not damage my 2 inch vanes. Next to fiber optic sights, probably the best invention since the compound bow itself!"
