Ice fishing and summer fishing,August 29, 2008
By walleyes1from Rosemount, MN
"While I think you can find a better Ice fishing depth finder, and I think you can find a better GPS. I think you can find a better color display summer depthfinder. YOU will have a hard time finding a better unit that does all three, ICE/Summer Color depth finder with GPS, M68c ice machine. The summer mode is detailed and the color is great. the GPS is accurate and has a ton of options, the color display for ice fishing lets you get ready when the fish are just about ready to strike. The only draw backs are the screen is small for summer fishing. And there are no depth contour lines when you are on the lake. Other than that I have been using my depthfinder for the last two winters and summers and love it."

Good buy (so far),September 18, 2007
By ksmith1from Michigan
"Overall good product. The GPS navigation functionality is cool and full of features (tracks and saves routes, gives trips statistics) . The only complaint I have is that sometimes it has difficulty acquiring your position and I have to re-initialize the GPS everytime. The fishfinder also works well and is full of features. This is probably one of the cheaper units I could find that contained a color screen, GPS unit, and fish finder all in one. It is also small enough to fit on your dash board."

By striper43from Valley Cottage NY
"I recently purchase a m68c gps and fish finder works perfect easy to use, and,no problem on gps, the problem is the quality of the unit, it is verry poor quality the first time when i got the unit when i installed on my boat the unit wasn't working so i called cabellas ,and, sent me another unit, second unit was working for two weeks and then in the middle of the day of fishing it just shut off, and wouldn't turn back on, i checked the wiring, the wiring was fine, i dont know what is wrong, so i called cabellas again, and it was the same problem on the first time that i got , internal diffected. so i decided not to get the same unit again.."

Excellent GPS/Sonar Unit,June 25, 2007
By ToonKingfrom Iowa
"If you're looking for a GPS/Fish Finder but don't need all the fancy stuff this unit is the ticket. Installation is a snap and should take you no more than 30 minutes. The display is crystal clear and dimmable for fishing at night. The Fish ID and Depth modes are awesome! You can't go wrong with this one!"

By barneybobofrom Clayton, NC
"This fish finder does everything it says it will do and with great ease of setting it up. Tweaking the sensitivity is fun. I have found the fish, now to catch them is a different matter."
