"I'm not an avid fisherman and bought this unit to have a depth finder on my ski boat and to try and find fish when entertaining the grandchildren. The unit was easy to install but did not come with everything the manual said was included to install it so I deducted one star for this (had to buy stainless steel screws, marine sealant and waterproof wire connectors). The unit does a good job tracking depth at all speeds, even 35-40 mph. At slower speed fish arks were visible but I lack the knowledge and time so far to fully learn and utilize all the units fish finding capabilities. For the price, Im very pleased with the color and screen clarity. Visible from the back of the boat, even in bright light."

"The sonar unit X67c functions well when it works, but seems to have a problem with the power cord. I purchase one Aug. 2008 and had to replace it Oct. 08. the rubber power cord plug malfunctions and wont let it plug in. It is now May/09, I only fished a couple times over the winter and now have the same problem with the replacement unit. I will be taking it back."

"Loads of technology and features in such a small package. Color screen is easy to read in the sunlight and it's very high resolution. Sharp definition of all features. Screen is big enough it can be read from the back of 15 foot or so- boat, even when it's mounted up in the very front. Very easy to use too. All in all a great fishfinder for the money. Perfect for a small fishing boat. Ordered the speed transducer for it as well and that works flawlessly, perfect for trolling for walleye. If the bait says 1.5 mph, no more guessing. It also has a screen to tell you your battery's condition and of course water surface temp. It has a readout for "Temp2" I'm guessing thats for a drop over the side transducer to get temps at depth. It keeps track of how many miles you've traveled. Would definitely buy another one if I needed it. Used it on about 8 fishing trips and it's a keeper."

"When I decided to upgrade my old Humminbird I researched all of the units in this price range. I went to Cablea's and took a look at all of the models on display. I was impressed with the resolution and the graphics of the Lowrance units. I looked at the Humminbird 141c, Garmin 160c, and the Eagle 320c. They would all do in a pinch but, the Lowrance X67 was the one for me.
It was slick to install and setup. When I got to the lake I found fish right away. I was also impressed that it would read sonar and show fish while speeding accross the lake.
If this is the price range you are planning to spend... This is the unit for you."

"I have used the unit twice since installation. The first time was for becoming familiar with it; the 2nd was on a VT lake. I like the Fish ID feature showing the size and depth of fish. I also like the ability to see the screen no matter what the light conditions. And, I caught fish. In fact, I have never caught a lake trout in this lake before and I caught two. The Fish ID helped me locate the fish and by trolling past the area with my downrigger close to the depth of the fish I was successful.
Also, I had trouble with the water temperature sensor so I called Lowrance on my cell phone. The service technician was very polite and without question told me a replacement transducer would be sent. I was told there was a back order on that particular transducer so I might not get the replacement for 3 to 4 weeks. However, I received it within 5 days.
As you can see I am very pleased so far. I expect as I learn more features on the unit it can only get better."

"This unit is a compact for boats that have limited space yet pacts all the features necessary for a successful day on the water. The screen is easy to read even in the bright sun. Works at speeds from trolling to 40mph on my boat. It is easy to mount and you don't have to have a degree in electronics to understand how to operate it. I have two on my boat, one in the cockpit an one on the bow. I have owned Lowrance sonars before and have always had excellent service from them."
