"The bolts, rubber inserts, and flange nut do not work well on the new body style F150. The retention of the anchor in the hole needs modification to securely keep it in the stake hole. While carrying kayaks the whole assembly nearly pulled out of the stake pocket."

"Purchased this item because it looked good and was rated at 1000 LBS per kit (two tie-downs). They looked great upon installation. The problem is my 40 lb dog can pull them loose. When I tried to tighten them, the rubber block that expands broke. Buy them if you want something that looks good and can be used to tie a tarp to. If your looking for strength, try something else. Cabela's customer support was awsome however, they agreed to fully refund my money."

"Very nice product.....good build quality.
Instructions are a little vague
If inerested in product..make sure they fit...don't know how one can do that without ordering them, since PUTCO's website is wrong and they do not fit."

Problem with installation,

"Had problems with the installation of the tie downs. Even when using the additional expanders, the bolts did not tighten down enough to feel secure. Once bolts were tightened it was impossible to remove them because the bolt head striped. Not sure of the strength really available because of the poor installation. Unable to return because they can't be removed from the truck."

"Add to the appearance of the truck!
They're very smooth and not attrusive
I would reccommend: when the orders are shipped there should be four in a box instead of two! Most trucks have 4 spots for their location!"

Nice looking, but not as solid as I hoped,

"The fit and finish was excellent, installed in pockets after I had the bed Rhino-lined and installed easily. But since I have driven on rough dirt roads they have vibrated loose, and even after tightning again they are not as solid as I hoped for heavy tall loads, but for most stuff the look great and work good."

"I was disappointed to learn that these don't fit the Toyota Tundra. The ad said that they fit all full size trucks, but they don't fit the 2006 Tundras. In fact, after my purchase, I did some research online & found that other sites that sell parts for trucks state that they don't fit the Tundra or the Titan."

"I have a 2001 GMC Sierra and I followed all the instructions and I could not get them to seat properly. I easily pulled them loose with a tiedown. I have not contacted the company yet for alternative installation. They look great and if I can get them to work, they will probably work great."
