"I have had this light for more than five years now and do not have a single negative thing to say about it. I own another Surefire light and an Inova light and this is by far my favorite. A few years ago, I replaced the standard incandescent head with the KL1 LED head and would recommend this upgrade to everyone with this light. The output is incredible, the battery life is actually pretty decent considering the output and this little light is nearly indestructible. The only issue that I've had is with the pocket clip. I snagged it on something a few months ago and it broke, but I called Surefire and they sent me a replacement clip free of charge. I can't say enough good things about Surefire and this light. True, it is a little pricey but you will never have to replace it which makes it an incredible value."

"Flashlight is too short to hold as a tactical flashlight. Recommend staying with SureFire or Pelican but getting a lilttle longer flashlight. Quality is very good though."

"I received my Surefire E2E and was unsure how bright it was going to be after seeing the small size. I was amazed how bright it was for the compact size. Its perfect for throwing it in a pocket, and hitting the woods. I had to use it during bow season to trail a deer. I used it for over an hour and the batteries were still good. Its the brightest compact flashlight, just as good as my large Maglight. Its built solid also, all I can say is "Great flashlight!!""

"I've carried every manner of flashlight, and given the size, brightness, and endurance my Surefire E2E is hands down my favorite. The price was a little hard to justify as a gift to myself so I asked my girlfriend for it as an anniversary present. I got my E2E, she got an engagment ring. Granted I spent MANY tmes over more money than she did, I often joke that my gift sparkles more (she doesn't seem to appreciate that joke as much as I do). Its compact, sturdy, bright, and waterproof. It puts the minimag that I replaced it with as my daily carry light to shame...utter shame. It also feels better in my hand than my friend's Scorpion, I can't explain why, it just does. Battery life can be short, but I've had mine for a year now on the same set, and I'm not prudish on its use either. I've heard an hour of constant use will kill a pair of batteries but thankfully I haven't been in a scenario requiring that kind of continuous use."

"The executive Surefire flashlights, like all of their lights, are as good as they claim. Near perfect beam, good color, they will show detail at a distance if needed where most others fail. After a few hikes down out of the Absoroka wilderness in the dark, 3 miles, with a common penlight, I decided I would always have surefire with me.........creek crossings and noises back in the trees become much easier to deal with, when you have a quality light."

"I began using Surefire flashlights as a State Parole Officer due to their powerful beam and small size which fit comfortably in casual clothes in the summer or winter. While the three-cell Mag Lite is an excellent tool, it is often left in the vehicle and announces to everyone who or what you are. The Surefire Executive lights are an improvement on the standard 6P and won’t roll away if laid down like their predecessor. They are also slightly smaller and more ergonomically designed. They provide a secure textured gripping surface and are very easy to use. I and my family have found them to be very useful around the home and especially in a hunting camp. They are light, powerful and very easy to carry, a plus when climbing into a tree stand in the early morning hours; useful in finding it too. With the lithium batteries, you don’t have to worry about them going bad over extended periods of inattention and I keep one in my ATV, UTV and vehicles. Based on my experience, I know if I don’t touch one for a couple of years, it will work when needed. Yes, they are expensive, but they are well worth it."

"A couple christmases back I was looking for a good flashlight for myself as I was sick and tired of lugging around maglights. I did some research and came across the Executive line of Surefires. I read some reviews and was hoping to get one as I asked for it. Christmas day came and my dad was sneaky, buying himself one as well. He knows I find the good stuff. Anyhow three years later and we still use our lights all the time. Brightness cannot be matched and battery life is amazing. Had a scorpian briefly but discarded because of short battery life. Surefire has never let me down. Hard rugged construction, been dropped and not a scratch. Toughest and best light I've seen anywhere!"

"I recently purchased a SureFire Executive E2 flashlight. My wife laughed at me and said I got taken. A tiny flashlight for almost 100 bucks was a joke! We went out at night with the SureFire and a 3 cell D size Maglite. There was no comparison. The SureFire was brighter and had a superior light pattern compared to the much larger Maglite flashlight. The SureFire goes everywhere with me now! The machining and anodizing of the aluminum is superb. The rear switch is positive and fumble free. The lockout feature is very handy and will prevent turning the light on accidentally. The SureFire E2 Exutive light is worth every penny!"

"I am an avid outdoorsman. I enjoy hunting, fishing, backpacking and climbing. I also have some wilderness medical training. I need a flashlight that will not break or fail to work in the harshest of conditions. Surefire lights have never failed. I have had them freeze, dropped them, submerged them, and nothing seems to harm them. I own a G2 also, but bought the E1E because of the compact size and battery life. It is about as big as my thumb, but is brighter than my 2 d-cell maglight. It goes with me wherever I go, and fits easily in my pocket. So far, I have used it for backpacking, for medical evaluations on people, and for finding my way to and from my blind in the dark. I would recommend this light or any in the Surefire lineup to anyone. I doubt if I will own another brand again."
