P-Line,November 18, 2009

"I am not a fan of Fluorocarbon - I am going to stick with Fireline. For situations where I am fising very clear water and need an invisable line, I will use a Fluorocarbon leader."

Fishing Line,October 7, 2009
By BassinKCfrom Kansas City, Mo
"A friend introduce me to P-Line years ago and it is the only line I use since. P-Line continues to produce a product that is stronger than expected. The diameter of the line is small but strong. P-Line will always be my first choice for fishing line."

P-Line Soft Fluorocarbon,September 18, 2009
By trainrobberfrom Vermont
"Line is good stuff. I run fishing charters for Atlantic salmon on Lake Champlain. We run 8 lb test and these salmon can really test it with their lighting runs and jumps. Never had a break this year. Believe the fluorocarbon helps increase the bites due to its invisibility."

P-Line Soft Fluorocarbon 6#,June 24, 2009
By victorinthewestfrom Sierra foothills, CA
"P-Line Fluorocarbon is excellent to load your reels. I used the 6# for trout and bass fishing here in the Western waters which is very clear. Perfect for spiining reels due to the very low memory. Also tie it on as a leader when using main line braids."

Solid Performer,May 27, 2009
By Garrittfrom Ohio
"I use this for all my leaders. Since I use 2-8 feet of line at a time, this review may be of use to leader fisherman only. This is invisible line that has really improved my catch rate. Even in stained or dingy water, an invisible leader gives you that edge you need to get the next bite. Isolating your lure from your main fishing line gives the fish no warning of what you have in store for them. I count on P-line and it performs."

Breaks way too easily,March 25, 2009
By boredfsafrom Milwaukee, WI
"Just recieved a new spool of PLine fluorocarbon 6 lb in the mail today but everytime I tied a knot, it broke when I pulled it tight. Then I just grabbed some of it between my hands hands and found it was breaking about as easily as I'd expect 2 lb test to break. I couldn't break my 1 year old Trilene XT 6lb pulling it between my hands, but this junk was easy to snap. I'll be returning it."

P Line Flouro,March 9, 2009
By Curtis1984from Moorefield WV
"I use 4lb for trout fishing. While it seems to break easier than the 4lb mono i used to use. I am now out fishing my friends 2 to 1 when bait fishing. Works great when the water is crystal clear."

PLine Flouro,March 9, 2009
By NJbasscat
"I've tried many brands of flourocarbon line and like PLine because it is very sensative and easy handling, even on spinning gear. I do use a more expensive imported flouro for flipping and pitching but use PLine on 80% of my setups because the quality is good and the price is excellent. If used on spinning gear, like most flouro, only spool up 2/3rds of the spool. Line and Lure conditioner helps as well on spinning and casting gear."

More Positives Few Compromises,March 1, 2009
By MEngineerfrom Mississippi Gulf Coast
"I have tried almost all the new lines. It seems there are compromises to be made with all of them. Traditional monofilament has too much stretch, braids have no stretch but wind knots and tangling around guides is a problem, fused lines do not wind knot as bad but tend to fray and lose color. I have searched for a line with the most positives and the least compromises. This line appears to be it. I use the 15lb test on a baitcasting reel for largemouth bass in realitively heavy cover. The line casts well, does not wind knot, has low stretch (solid hooksets), and is hard to see under water. Knot strength appears to be as good as with any other line I have used (I tested it). I use the no-name knot with at least five wraps, lubricate it with a little spit when I cinch it, and make sure I cinch the tag before I cut it. I would have given this line five stars but I have not used it long enough to comment on how it holds up over time. However, I can see me spooling all my reels with it in the future."

Only the best,December 23, 2008
By PerfectDriftfrom Idaho
"I only use the best rods, reels and especially line. P-Line has small diameter and is rock resistant. It casts extremely well. We use light line to fish deep and land the big ones. We use it on both A run and B run Steelhead. After using other quality lines on fall and spring run fish, this is the best."

Good Line,July 7, 2008
By MClarkfrom Minneapolis, MN
"I bought the 8lb test and have been pleased with it's performance. It's a strong line and virtually invisible in the water. My only complaint is that is has more memory than I would like. Overall, a good fluorocarbon line."

Fluorocarbon is the way to go,June 19, 2007
By bugsplatfrom Ohio
"I have tried them all (flavors/brand of line) and by far the easiest to cast and use and overall line strength goes to the P-Line Fluorocarbon brand of fishing line. I am not a big fan of the braided lines therefore I tried the Fluorocarbon's and I am very impressed. One thing that I noticed is I am not re-tying my knots all the time. If you have not tried any type of Fluorocarbon line you owe it to yourself to do so. I like the “P-Line” brand the best."

Big Fish Killer,May 29, 2007
By Oakeyfrom Commercial mack fisherman, Lake Pend Oreille Idaho
"I have used the P-Line leaders for about the last 4 years. I use fluorocarbon leader for everything I fish for. Over the last 4 years, I have caught 3 "Mack of the Month" mackinaw in Lake Pend Oreille in Northern Idaho, and one of them made "Mack of the Year" at 24 lbs 4 oz. I have been "bit off" by many HUGE macks, and have graduated from 15 lb...to 20 lb....and now 25 lb leader material to try to avoid being bitten off by big fish. One way or another, the fluorocarbon has far outproduced other leaders in producing hits and hookups. Mackinaw are a very toothy fish, and a big one (over 20 lbs) can cut line easily with a hard head shake. P-Line has both produced more hits and hookups for me, and has reduced the number of bite-offs I have had with the big mackinaw. I have caught fall chinook up to 55 lbs using the 25 lb test fluorocarbon leaders, and would recommend it overall to any leader material of the same test. I'm a little bit "intense" about my fishing, and I fish P-Line on everything I fish for. Good quality leader material."

"I have used p-line for all of my leaders for tournament walleye fishing from worm harness, lindy rigging to slabbing. I just returned from a tournament and caught and weighed a 12 and 10 pound walleye on the same 6 pound leader. Great Line."
