"pretty good but not that effective on hotter days, if windy need to sit down wind of it , to me not good to use deer hunting because does have a light scent , always say if you can smell it , deer can smell it. great for turkey hunts..."

"The thermocell holster is made very well. It has both velcro belt loop as well as a strap with a buckle making it very easy to attach to a limb, stand, belt or pack. It also is made so that you can access the fuel without removing the thermocell from the holster. There is a veiwing port that allows you to see if it is ignited. If you have a Thermocell, this holster is a must!"

"This holster provides a nice way to carry extra fuel and pads for the ThermaCell. It comes in Olive Drab so it can blend in with almost any surroundings. It has a snap clip that is adjustable to connect to a pack, waist or tree. The material appears to be somewhat thick, but is kinda slippery on the unit."

"The Thermacell Holster is the perfect accessory to carrying the Thermacell in the woods. It is great for stand hunting in early season when you are avoiding bugs but need to make sure it doesn't fall or make noise, I just clip it on the side of my treestand and turn it on. Good quality product!"

"I owned and enjoyed the ThermaCell for several weeks but had a hard time keeping it with me hunting, fishing, gardening, etc. I bought the holster and it travels very well now. Wouldn't be caught without it in bug season. Thanks"

"The holster allows access to the butane bottle and the repellent mats without removing the unit from the holster. The holster also allows strapping the unit to a backpack, beltloop, leg, etc., for transportation. The drawback is not the holster, but the ThermaCELL unit which must be mounted horizontally when in use to prevent voiding the warranty."

"If you want to wear the Thermacell to transport it, the holster would be useful. However, I find that it makes more sense to carry the Thermacell in a back pack or pocket. Use the extra money to buy more butane cartridges and repellent pads."

"Used the product this Sept. bear hunting in Maine. Worked great on the bugs while in a treestand and was easy to use.I hunted 1 day in a ground blind and had a black bear work its way to within 8 feet of me without hearing it. I heard something snort and looked out and saw a bear sniffing the smoke for about a minute ,it then stood up right next to me took one last whiff and ran off.i hunted from a tree the next day."

"It works the only draw back is that the belt is to small for us BIG BOY's I guess I could lose a few pound's other than that it would be a problem not to have a holster. Like I said before the belt could be bigger but it hang's in the tree stand with no problems."

"I had been hearing all the hype and finally purchased a Thermacell Camo unit and holster. I used it last weekend while squirrel hunting and there was no comparison to a previous hunt where the skeeters ate me alive. This item is amazing, I sat in place waiting for a tree rat and didn't get one bite the whole time. The holster is a must have as it protects the unit, has side pockets for extra repellant pads and fuel and a strap to affix it to your leg. I am convinced that my days of bug issues in the early Fall Deer hunts and Spring Turkey hunts are long gone. Thanks!"

"I have not used my unit yet but was exposed to a friend's while sitting around and chatting after a round of broadhead shooting. The mosquitos were moving in on us in groves when the unit was fired up and sat near us. Within 10 minutes, the mosquitos were GONE! Remarkable....This unit will be great during the deer archery season."
