"Product works really well at keeping small items from falling through. Wish I'd had them during cherry season.
Only problem initially was getting them to lie flat on the racks. Considering using a bit of thread to keep them in place."

Small Binder Clips hold Drying Screens on Trays,

"I found the drying screens tend to curl some along long edges and the corners and would catch the tray above it as they are very close together if using all trays without leaving a slot open between trays. Also they tended to slide around on drying trays. What I found works well is using small binder clips to hold down at least along edge you are sliding into oven first. I have used as many as 4 along back edge to keep curling down and to stabilize screen on tray. Also make sure you lay them flat when not in use; put a tray on top. Otherwise, they fulfilled their function."

"I've returned my Dehydrator Drying Screens because they are simply too small. They're about two inches smaller than the actual dehydrator rack, on all four sides. Additionally you loose space due to the huge rectangular cut-out in the middle. Not what I expected, or need. (Love the dehydrator though!!)"

"The screens curl up on the corners. There is not enough space in between the trays. the mesh does not extend to the ends of the actual tray so food falls through."

"I bought this thinking that it would be a little bit smaller than it actually is, but was pleasantly surprised. I have already dried much fruit, made some great jerky, and dried a ton of tomatoes, and this machine works very well. You do have to be sure that you rotate the racks or some of the stuff will not dry as fast as the rest. It is also fairly loud, but that is to be expected. Overall it is a very good dehydrator, I would recommend it to most anyone."

"These worked very well for anything I placed on them. I was especially pleased with how well jerky came off the sheets and how easily they were to clean. They do "warp" a little, but overall a nice product."

"The screens curled up so badly once they were warm that it became impossible to rotate the trays. The jerky and screen would catch on the tray above, pulling jerky off, then you can't put it back. Made a mess and a real problem trying to dry jerky evenly. Although used, I should probably try to return them."

"Screens were handy for drying smaller items that would otherwise fall through the regular drying racks. The only problem I have had with them is that the edges curl and it makes it difficult to load them without catching on the surrounding racks."

bought the dehydrator screens to use in my oven on the dehydrate setting.
I was hoping I was getting the racks but the screens worked surprisingly
well. They are the same size as my oven racks so the fit was ideal. The pineapples
that I dehydrated actually took less time using the screens vs. borrowing
my neighbor's kit that is specific to the oven. The pineapples tasted delicious
and I am pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Who knew that the screens
could take the place of a kit in an oven already programmed for a dehydrator
setting!"

"The drying screens tend to slide around during drying, so you have to be carefull when opening the door so they don't slide out with all the fruit you have on them, or tie them to the racks prior to drying.. I've only used them once for bananas, but i'm thinking you have to use non-stick spray, because when making banana chips, the bananas tend to stick quite a bit. other then that, they work great for apples and pears, since that is all i have dried on them. I will say that the 12 rack commercial dehydrator is awsome, i have made my money back with it by making my own jerky. I plan to use my drying screens the next time i use ground meat for jerky."
